WOW! I thought Opus 5 would just be a cheaper Fable. I was dead wrong. This model is absolutely BONKERS. I'm genuinely blown away. Opus 5 built the best Rocket League clone i've ever seen, and it did it while consuming only 27% of my 5x Max sub. Sound... show more

Watching Opus not only build, not only test, but actually play the game to make sure the mechanics are working as intended is giving me a new level of psychosis I didnt have yesterday. This is Opus controlling the game entirely.

Play Rocket Arena here:

Download game here:

Neat!!

Thank you!! I made it multiplayer! Great model Boris. Thanks for the comment

Here's the fable result in case you are wondering. It was very good but it did not get the small details as well. Just look at the car

Here's 5.6 Sol high.

Starting prompt: I followed up by asking it to add a practice mode, add infinite boost, I wanted it to tighten the steering, reverse the steering controls, add rounded corners to the ceiling, add audio, change the big boostvpad to orbs instead of boxes, and make the goals rounded inside as well. That's it

rocketbench

needs to be in every lab's back pocket

I miss rocket league lol this is sick!

I mean for the next week or two at least, yeah, probably.

@threejs I’d be interested to see if you could take the prototype and get the LLM to make it into a polished game from here.

@threejs Depends on your definition of polished. If we're talking original rl quality probably not

Awesome, if you wanna take the game to @_portals_ you can publish it right away and see how many people wanna play

I think it’s better or similar level to fable. Wild

its better in my testing.

Same here It output the original Minecraft quality for me

Even 25% of a weekly $100 subscription for one task still seems crazy to me. On the other hand. Estimate how long it would take you to build this in UE. You'd probably take more than an hour at best and you'd definitely make more than $25/hr doing this kind of work.

25% of the 5 hour To build a fully playable game

Oh right, Anthropic still has 5 hour limits.

@Tycho3rd

Holy shit, I am excited.

no way, that's actually insane

Gotta try this - looks fun to replicate/rebuild games

And its less tokens than fable?

I'll have to go back and look

We've a deposit match bonus campaign for Opus 5 API:

wow this is insane ngl, Anthropic cooked with opus 5

27% of a Max sub, wild!

dude you're crashing it. thanks for sharing, it is fun to play, and exciting to see the results.

这么疯狂的吗。我要订阅cursor了。。。

Most outputs of games I’ve seen for opus 5 looks better than fable 5

What was the process to generate assets? What tools do you use for that?

This is built in pure TypeScript, no assets whatsoever Claude code

Creative tasks are where these models are becoming the most surprising.

This is amazing!! This is one I want to try to build in gpt. Do you think I can get this level of a game with codex?

You can definitely build a game that would be a lot of fun, and it will be like this, but I don't think it will look anywhere near as good unless you really spend a lot of time prompting it back and forth. In my experience, you can basically do the same thing with SOL, but it's going to take a lot more tinkering and prompting and work to get there.

Thank you for the feedback. Im a bit addicted to building with Ai. I havent started building this yet but Im hoping that by the time I do, Sol will be at that level. Thanks again. Appreciate you

Sorry about that, something didn't go as planned. Please try again, and if you're still seeing this message, go ahead and restart the app.

That’s incredible

Awesome comparison I’m quite excited to continue building with opus 5 It’s not the model I thought it was to be either. Blown away 💥

Best Rocket League clone yet using only 27 percent capacity, that's impressive efficiency 🚀

shit nice

27% of a 5x Max sub for the best agent-built Rocket League clone yet is the actual headline, not another benchmark chart. Spatial reasoning inside a live game engine is a much harder tell than a leaderboard number.

@PaulSolt For Opus 6 you’re gonna have to post your air dribbling

@PaulSolt i can barely air dribble in the real game lol

extremely well done. I produced a video with "proper" tip-off and goalie return. Diamond league, BTW :)
