I have always felt enormous gratitude to have been born in Australia but, like many of you, I felt that we weren’t going in the right direction as a country. Paano naging PILIT yung storyline ni Dustin sa movie when THAT IS BASICALLY THE PLOT??? 😂 Fyang’s character is Kenzo’s die hard fan who literally writes AUs with him as the main character. Of course, gagana ang imagination niya. GANUN KASI PAG WRITER, SIR. 😂 She’s so fanatic and so detached from reality that she doesn’t even realize her own BFF, RR, has been in love with her for so long. GANUN TALAGA PAG DIE HARD FAN, SIR. 😂 Then she meets Kenzo in real life and realizes he’s far from perfect. 💔💔💔💔💔 USED ABUSED AND THROWN ON THE STREETS !!!! Reading the above you would think im talking about the Balkans ..... NO WE'RE ABOUT RIGHT HERE IN THE UK 😡😡😡😡 5 ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED RETRIEVERS DUMPED 1 BY 1 FROM A CAR ABUSED , MALNOURISHED, MATTED AND COMPLETELY BROKEN. JUST IMAGINE THAT FOR 1 MINUTE 💔💔💔 Luckily, these beautiful dogs were spotted by absolute angels, and an amazing group of people came together and made these boys safe. Of course, dog wardens were called, and the answer was SORRY WE HAVE NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO AND THEY WILL BE PTS 💔💔 Thankfully, one of the angels had a farm and was able to give them shelter and care for the last week whilst desperately looking for someone to help them. One of our Facebook members contacted Louise and told her their plight and of course, straight away she said yes. WE HAVE TO HELP🙏🙏 So now to the dogs and how they are, they are not good, its absolutely heartbreaking 💔 5 boy golden retrievers likely have been used for breeding/puppy farming 😡. All varying ages, 1 very old boy. 1 has a neck injury we think from being tied up, he is also severely matted. 4 are terrified , 1 petrified. We have an old boy who is ok . WHAT WE NEED .... Louise has arranged for them to be transported to our kennels this weekend so firstly they can decompress and secondly we can get them all vet checked. They are all underweight un-neutered and some may be in pain 💔. NOW THIS IS THE UK SO WE ARE TALKING THOUSANDS HERE TO NOT HUNDREDS IN VET BILLS . The plan is that once we get them sorted medically we then can place them in fosters. The older boy is an absolute star and I believe can go into foster after his vet check. WE NEED ABSOLUTELY EVERY FOLLOWER TO HELP US TO HELP THEM. THEY HAVE NO VOICE AND WE MUST BE THEIRS 💔🐾 IF YOU CAN'T DONATE.. VTubing is for everyone! I don't like to bring this up, but recent events in the VTuber community made some people really vile. I had my M&G at HolMat last week and had people come up and just yell at me for being a girl in the "womans world", that is VTubing, no idea about who I was, or why I was there. I had the same group return to my handler multiple times, I felt really worried about the person carrying me around having to deal with this repeatedly and tried to steer them away from the group. It seems they found my YT and left me a handful of the same comments, luckily all caught by moderation tools. While I will refrain from M&G's for a little until this calms down I want to say this; I have been managing for over 1.5 years now, I deliberately take on male VTubers to show them that they can still do it. I take on people that have babiniku accounts, those that are changing from one gender presentation to another and want help, and those that have no gender presentation in their avatar. A lot of male VTubers struggle to find a manager because the stereotype is that all male VTubers are evil and it perpetuates a stereotype that extends beyond entertainment industry subcultures like streaming. VTubing has always been a medium, while character and marketing matters, it's about what makes you happy, YOU are the person that makes the content. Use whatever you want as an avatar, use a voice changer if that's what you want to do. Every month I have a male client bring up they can't do it the same way, that it's easier if jiggle physics or a cute voice is the answer to fast growth. And I tell them yeah, I can also do ASMR, I can do drama content, collab with a larger person, and get to x amount of viewers. There are shortcuts in every entertainment profession and subculture. Does it last? Do quick fixes for anything ever last? Yes, great physics and an expensive model can get people in, but if your value, your way of interacting with people, your content plan and marketing is ass, you can pack up. Most of us start on a small budget, premade or resold models, and it's the same in the big league entertainment industry too. Can I take out a loan and put myself on a billboard tomorrow, can I pay the most expensive model artist and rigger and get in along corporate VTubers tomorrow? Sure. Will it last, will it be genuine, will people trust me? Hell no. Genuine communities and growth build trust. I think streaming, creative industries, entertainment, are full of people, regardless of gender, that will see success and call it "easy", because of what they see as the end product. They don't see most VTubers working a second job, they don't see the managers, they don't see 100+ hours a month going into content production, years invested in singing and voice lessons, model redebut after redebut. I think a lot of male VTubers get a bad rep, because so many boys are raised without putting emphasis on empathy and creativity, watching my brothers be told they should not pursue art, that theatre class is a waste of time, and that they needed to go study x or y to make money for their families in the future was heartbreaking. Nobody should have to look at others and feel so much hatred for society they turn against a whole group of people. If you want to pursue entertainment, please do. If you want to grow and try and make a name for yourself, you should start there, not with yelling about how you already failed. "Oh but I can't", "Oh but the odds are stacked against me", look at the big streamers, look at Ironmouse who overcame everything with hard work, look at Kiara who rose from the ashes, look at everyone that fights against their odds every day and give it your all. If you already think you lost, then you have nothing to lose. Don't give up on your dreams because others tell you to.

i wanted to tell you how we made the visuals for nerve-bloom i did it with Natalia Kleszczewska and Natalie Liu . Natalia Kleszczewska is a painter , she painted the creatures and the backgrounds . Natalie Liu is a computer graphics director , she shaped the digital dimension of the work . my role in it was a creative director , bringing in the singer-songwriter tradition , where emotionally precise things happen inside the structure of a song . i guided colour pallettes , textures and the environments the music happens in . to make this possible , during the process , natalia often had to paint many shapes and sizes , different textures and layers of colours . natalie then developed the visuals, designing and overseeing CGI elements , and finding ways for the digital to sit organically alongside Natalia’s world . and include my dramaturgy and creative direction. we spent 7 months talking and working together , dedicated to relish in the craft of blending hand-made visuals with digital experimentation , 3D design and commit it to physical display technology . a lot of time was spent on researching different tools and techniques to find what worked best at each stage in the song . like i’ve done before , i wanted to merge old things with tech , giving it soul & a meaning . to paint a painting is an analog craft but computer programming is craftmanship too !! and both can co-exist , .....encouraging each other to bloom even further towards a mutual world . there is a tradition in pop music for the mucisian to choose a video director . in the art world , this is called “curation” , but where we came from , it was natural that the musician would have strong opinions on what your song needed , which mood , colours , textures & storyline . today this is called “creative director” and it is something we didn’t credit ourselves with in the 90s , but i am starting to understand this better now . i don´t think of me as a visual artist . because my heart is music . everything i do comes from a sonic point of view . this is something i have called “sonic symbolism” , sound made visual , a reverse synesthesia . when you listen to a song for the first time , it is like swallowing a whale , you need to feel the whole musical sculpture in one go . the structure of a song has always been extremely important to me : what shape it is . this is part of the craft of being a singer-songwriter ........... we are tune sculpturors ....... since i am talking about the visuals for nerve bloom it is impossible to not mention the avatars in my music videos . they have replaced the storyteller with anattempt to connect to the more universal element of music , through animation, avatars , puppetry both digital and analog . for me they are marionettes in a puppet-theatre , hopefully in a similar realm as the jungian archetypes ( which we all can act out the characteristics of ...) .... i feel nerve-bloom is a natural continuation .... an animated avatar archetype singing you a song ––––– Avatars, animation and archetypes: Nerve Bloom (remix) – on display at Listasafn Íslands / National Gallery of Iceland until September 20th 2026. Natalie Liu is a computer graphics director , she shaped the digital dimension of the work . my role in it was a creative director , bringing in the singer-songwriter tradition , where emotionally precise things happen inside the structure of a song . i guided colour pallettes , textures and the environments the music happens in . to make this possible , during the process , natalia often had to paint many shapes and sizes , different textures and layers of colours . natalie then developed the visuals, designing and overseeing CGI elements , and finding ways for the digital to sit organically alongside Natalia’s world . and include my dramaturgy and creative direction. we spent 7 months talking and working together , dedicated to relish in the craft of blending hand-made visuals with digital experimentation , 3D design and commit it to physical display technology . a lot of time was spent on researching different tools and techniques to find what worked best at each stage in the song . like i’ve done before , i wanted to merge old things with tech , giving it soul & a meaning . to paint a painting is an analog craft but computer programming is craftmanship too !! and both can co-exist , .....encouraging each other to bloom even further towards a mutual world . there is a tradition in pop music for the mucisian to choose a video director . in the art world , this is called “curation” , but where we came from , it was natural that the musician would have strong opinions on what your song needed , which mood , colours , textures & storyline . today this is called “creative director” and it is something we didn’t credit ourselves with in the 90s , but i am starting to understand this better now . i don´t think of me as a visual artist . because my heart is music . everything i do comes from a sonic point of view . this is something i have called “sonic symbolism” , sound made visual , a reverse synesthesia . when you listen to a song for the first time , it is like swallowing a whale , you need to feel the whole musical sculpture in one go . the structure of a song has always been extremely important to me : what shape it is . this is part of the craft of being a singer-songwriter ........... we are tune sculpturors ....... since i am talking about the visuals for nerve bloom it is impossible to not mention the avatars in my music videos . they have replaced the storyteller with anattempt to connect to the more universal element of music , through animation, avatars , puppetry both digital and analog . for me they are marionettes in a puppet-theatre , hopefully in a similar realm as the jungian archetypes ( which we all can act out the characteristics of ...) .... i feel nerve-bloom is a natural continuation .... an animated avatar archetype singing you a song ––––– Avatars, animation and archetypes: Nerve Bloom (remix) – on display at Listasafn Íslands / National Gallery of Iceland until September 20th 2026. It was a sad day for Jiu-Jitsu. 😔 Last week at a tournament in Brazil, a black belt known as Kabuto suffered a very serious cervical spine injury while competing in the No-Gi Open Class. He went for a triangle against a much heavier opponent. His opponent stood up while Kabuto was upside down in the triangle and slammed him onto the mat, landing him on his neck. Kabuto was taken to the hospital and underwent a very long surgery. Unfortunately, his injury is extremely serious, and no one knows how much he will be able to recover and it may require a tremendous amount of support and resources. I’m making this post for two reasons. First, there is a fundraiser to help Kabuto and his family during his recovery. I’m leaving the link here below. If you are able to help, any support would mean a lot. 🙏 Second, I think this is an important reminder for all of us in the Jiu-Jitsu community to understand what is legal and illegal, but especially what can cause catastrophic injuries. Unpopular opinion about El Salvador. A TON of workers here are lazy as hell and i do hope this message reaches many Salvadoreños in the United States. You leave the job site, little will get done and yes tools and materials will disappear. I said it. If you’re going to build a home, start a business, or just hire a few helping hands for that side project, get ready to fire fast. Put in systems of checks and balances, hire solid management, use cameras, and lock up materials. If you have the time or money you or someone you really trust must manage the project on SITE. I’ve hired thousands of people throughout the last few 6 years while personally living in 9 Latin countries and El Salvador has been one of the hardest to work in. El Salvador also happens to be my favorite country at the moment with my favorite people. It’s beautiful, small, has a Chuck E cheese for my daughter but most important, it’s safe for my family. So why is it so damn hard to work with people here? I think it’s because of the civil war. This is going to sound crazy coming from a president of a non profit but free money destroys people. It enables them. It ruins their will to work ultimately creating a lazy and slothful person Over 2.5 million people from El Salvador live in the United States. MANY of them send money every 2 weeks to their aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews to “help” them. This has turned into dependency. It has created a cycle of entitlement rather than self-sufficiency. “Why would I work for 10 hours in the sun when I can tell my aunt that I need money for medicine?” There are kids here with no desire to self educate, no desire to work, because they’re sucking the tit of their families in the United States or Canada. 2 of my hardest workers who show up early, never miss a day are these two men in this video. No arms, and an elderly who just wants to work. Their speed compared to a young healthy man is slow in comparison but their will and desire to work is unwavering. They’re inspiring. They are happy at work. They don’t complain. They’re not rich working for me but they are ok. I believe they are hard workers because they were never a part of a welfare system given to them from family in the states. I also believe that the civil war has created a massive divide between the wealthy and the poor. Maybe this already existed but chatting with enough people you can put 2 and 2 together. The socioeconomic divides between the wealthy and the poor. Certain families growing incredibly rich over the suffering of the lower class. People have lost trust, they’ve lost hope. Their views on money and rich people are shaped by past experiences of being taken advantage of. People are sick and tired of making $75 per pay period in the farms of El Salvador. I know that’s a whole other discussion. How do we fix this? I don’t know but I know my mission with casa conejo is to inspire others to work their asses off and to get paid by the sweat of their brows. I want to create a micro economy that allows the poor of the poor to grow! To break the cycle of poverty. To shatter the idea of “we can’t make it in El Salvador” We can and we will by working our asses off and getting paid what we deserve. Once we’re open a percentage of profits will go towards these workers. The rest back into our projects of building schools, running our women’s shelters, feeding the elderly. Let’s do this

I just had what was perhaps the most Israeli experience I’ve ever had. I was running some errands locally when all of a sudden, the siren began to blare. “Oh, no! Not again! What the hell?? This again? Iran? Hezbollah? Hamas? Who is firing at us now and what do I do? Pull over? Get down on the pavement? Keep driving?” Then I looked around and people had stopped their cars and were just standing there on the sidewalk. “That’s not the instructions I’ve read! Why isn’t he lying down and covering his head?!” I exited my car and was about to lie down when I realized, that’s not a siren warning of a missile. That’s a siren remembering the six million! Today is Yom Hashoa, Holocaust Remembrance day! That’s why people are standing! They are standing in honor of our ancestors who were butchered at the hands of the Nazis! So I too got out of my car to stand! Usually, during these sirens, I try to close my eyes and think of the six million. For whatever reason, this time I decided to keep my eyes open and look around. Lo and behold, I was standing where a ballistic missile hit just a few weeks ago, a missile that tragically killed many. In fact, it was the deadliest missile of the entire war and I was standing right there as the siren reminded me that this is not our first rodeo, that we’ve been here before. I stood there as the siren blared looking directly at the place a ballistic missile sent by another enemy trying to annihilate us yet again, had fallen just a few weeks prior. But then I looked up to God wondering when it’ll end. And what did I see above me blowing in the wind? The Israeli flag! I felt that emotional confusion that every Israeli knows too well. Sadness. Devastation. Hopelessness. And at the same time, tremendous pride, optimism, and unity. There we were, the entire country standing together. No politics. No division. Just unity. Standing there witnessing the destruction as I, and the entire country paid respects to those millions, was an incredibly meaningful moment and a moment that to me felt like a clear message from God telling me, “You’ve been through enough suffering. Only good things to come.” Like I said, a uniquely Israeli experience that no else can understand but that every Israeli knows well.

There is nothing that prepared me for this sheer loss unimaginable of a father’s breath that had again become my own, just as it had been when I lay upon his belly as a girl, delighting in stories of the kings and queens of India. “Noorjehan,” he told me when I asked which queen he told me about. Bedside these past weeks with my family as my father battled life-threatening pneumonia and lung disease, I inhaled these last weeks beside my father’s ear to guide him to breathe deeply and exhaled softly onto his neck to synchronize our breaths and try to bring him back to good health. These past weeks, my father gave us the gift of being able to serve him as an expression of love. In Room 8, I fell in love again with my father as I had as a girl upon his belly. I learned from the softness of his grandchildren serving him, my niece tucking and retucking his blanket. We knew his white blood cell count and his respirations per minute. We discovered his playful wink. We recited the first chapter of the Quran to remain on the straight path, and I heard him say again and again “Alhamdullilah,” praise be to God, because he had gratitude in even obstacles, as his granddaughter observed in him.
