💾 Vibe coded an entire dial-up TCP/IP stack for my TUI OS to get to the internet so it can now too browse the web It uses the same ISP as does which is (a real dial up provider) and then the browser routes you to my HTTP-proxy (because it doesn't support HTTPS yet) so you can open modern websites with it WebSocket → HDLC framing → PPP → LCP/EAP/IPCP → IPv4 → UDP → DNS (one round trip) → IPv4 → TCP (3-way handshake) → HTTP/1.0 → HTTP reverse proxy → HTML parse → render in OS browser -> render in your browser Also we have some techno in the music player now (not good yet) VERY GEEKY 🤓

You can try it live on in Internet Explorer, I set it as the homepage

First of its kind? New feature in Ghostty: a web-inspector-style "terminal inspector" targeted at CLI, TUI developers. Built right into the terminal, you can see a live view of terminal state, keyboard events, escape sequences, and much much more. 👻💖 Video tour below. Similar to Firebug with Firefox, I'm hoping this helps usher in a new era of develop-ability for terminal applications by making it much much easier to understand what is going on. When the inspector is not in use, there is no perceivable performance impact (benchmarks show the same). When the inspector is in use, the terminal it is inspecting slows down to about half speed due to the overhead. But this only impacts the terminal being inspected. This is a really early version of the inspector. The data organization is kind of messy, its mostly read-only information right now, and there is a lot more information I want to surface. The next step is making a lot of this data read-write so you can actually modify the terminal live (similar to modifying HTML/CSS live in a web inspector) to trial-and-error some changes. Congrats to the Kimi.ai team! This is awesome. Great to see this level of research coming from open-source frontier model labs. I liked the paper so much I built a Rust implementation of it ;) Full AttnRes + Block AttnRes with two-phase inference, built using Burn (tensor library and Deep Learning Framework, in Rust, by Tracel AI). Runs on CPU, CUDA, Metal, wgpu. Includes an interactive TUI that trains a model live and visualizes depth attention evolving from uniform to selective in real time. Utilizing Fiddler, we can trace the passwords and files being sent to the iagon server in clear text & unencrypted, as stated in the audit findings. (Fiddler is a web debugging proxy tool that intercepts and logs all HTTP(S) traffic between a device and the internet, allowing developers and users to inspect, debug, and troubleshoot web service calls and network issues) In this example, we selected France as the regulatory environment & we uploaded test medical patient data to iagon, this sensitive data was also uploaded unencrypted and sent to the same iagon server in Germany with iagon having full access to the file before processing it further. This further reinforces the audit findings of centralization, non-encryption and GDPR non-compliance. Don't trust, verify. We encourage the community to replicate these findings from their own devices.
