This change is result of an additional 82,000 gallons of capacity that was added recently. Along with this, the high pressure gas system now has nearly double the capacity since the last time this system was tested. Can't wait for launch day, when ever that is! 📽️:Avid Space

For a little bit of context as to how this top deck alone compares to Pad 1's deluge, the red line is Pad 1's max strength (pushing outward (not height)) from the middle of the launch mount. It is crazy how much power this plate has behind it. NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

This evening's full deluge test from Pad 2 filmed in 120fps. Interesting note: the hold down clamp doors on the launch mount were still open at the time of top deck activation. Either that lets us know the booster will still be firmly in place upon activation or this was unique to this test in particular as they have remained closed for most, if not all other tests involving the top deck. 📸 - NSF - NASASpaceflight.com 📺 -
