The Flame Deflector test from earlier today was pretty intense compared to past tests. Such a massive amount of water being ejected in less than a 60 seconds. This change is result of an additional 82,000 gallons of capacity that was added recently. Along with this, the high pressure gas system now has nearly double the capacity since the last time this system was tested. Can't wait for launch day, when ever that is! 📽️:Avid Space

For a little bit of context as to how this top deck alone compares to Pad 1's deluge, the red line is Pad 1's max strength (pushing outward (not height)) from the middle of the launch mount. It is crazy how much power this plate has behind it. NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

The massive Drawworks system for the Pad B has finally arrived ! This is used to hoist the chopstick arms up and down the tower I originally predicted that this may be removed from the the Pad 39A Starship Launch tower but that doesn't appear to be the case. Off of first glance this seem like it may be a brand new unit 💰💰💰 🎥:Avid Space

At launch pad 39B, testing of the slidewire escape baskets has taken place this afternoon. The baskets will whisk the Artemis 2 astronauts away from their hydrogen-fueled Space Launch System rocket in the event of an emergency at the pad.

WOW! An absolutely MASSIVE transfer tube has rolled out of the Starfactory. This is the first time we have seen this component for the V3 booster. The amount of changes on the V3 booster is insane. Its is a completely different vehicle with very little resemblance to its predecessor. 🎥: Avid Space

This evening's full deluge test from Pad 2 filmed in 120fps. Interesting note: the hold down clamp doors on the launch mount were still open at the time of top deck activation. Either that lets us know the booster will still be firmly in place upon activation or this was unique to this test in particular as they have remained closed for most, if not all other tests involving the top deck. 📸 - NSF - NASASpaceflight.com 📺 -

Why are many in the space community calling SpaceX Starship Flight 11 the Flight of many “Lasts”? That’s because it is true and represents a major transition from the more Wild Wild West of prototype development to a more operational, maturing space launch and spacecraft system. After Flight 11, much of the original orbital launch site systems, from the launch mount, to the water deluge & supporting systems are about to be replaced by a brand-new & much more reliable, survivable & rapidly reusable system. These changes will even make the iconic imagery we are familiar with just historical memories. The new heavily reinforced roof has been installed on top of Pad 1's Integration Tower. This appears to be intended to allow for a minor amount of exhaust impingement on the roof. Do yal think this is more likely to be necessary for Superheavy or the Ship? 🎥: Avid Space

Booster 19 has performed its first static fire test on the new Launch Mount! Its difficult to determine how may engines were tested, but it appears to be at least 3. Plume exiting both sides of the trench means there is one on each side, and stronger plume on the east side suggest double the amount of engines on that side tested. 🎥: NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

Battlefield 6 will launch with an enhanced version of Battlefield Portal using Godot Engine. It allows you to create your own custom maps and rulesets with full XP progression. This is pretty crazy, can't wait to see what kind of insane modes the community comes up with.

#SpaceX is preparing to move the massive new #Starship launch mount structure for #Starbase Pad B to the launch site for installation. In this post, I’ll give an overview of the design and use my 3D models to calculate the structure’s mass in its current configuration. This new launch mount, nearly an entire redesign, is SpaceX’s best effort at correcting many of the issues discovered with the mount at Pad A after a handful of launches. The only similarity between this mount and the original launch mount for Pad A is that 20 arms will still be used to support the #SuperHeavy booster before liftoff. However, the arms and everything else making up the structure are entirely different.
