Just In: Elon Musk just claims he can see the future and history will prove him right. "I am very good at predicting the future. I am not perfect, but my success rate is very high for a human being. This creates something of a Cassandra effect: people do not believe what I say is likely to happen, because I can see the future with a higher probability of success than most people. That includes outcomes that may seem counterintuitive. I am not saying that I am always right. I certainly am not. But my success rate is very good. SEN. KELLY: I've spent 15 years working with Russian cosmonauts. Took me 5 years to understand what motivated them. Number one, appearance that they were in charge of something. Two, who to blame when something goes wrong. Three, what to steal today. Only four, mission success. I think as Ukrainians, as Americans, as Brits, we're often motivated by mission success. You want organization you work for to be successful, you want your country to be successful, you want British Army to be successful, I want US Navy to be successful, I want NASA to be successful. That wasn't my experience with Russian cosmonauts I worked with. I'm talking about dozens of people that I knew well, what motivated them when they went to work every day. At the top of the list was that they really cared about the appearance that they were in charge of something, not mission success. Now, whether they were really actually in charge of it or not didn't matter so much. Mission success wasn't even number two. Number two on the list, I would say, was whether they knew who to blame when something went wrong, like placing the blame. Russians have a position in their Mission Control Center which is called "mistakes officer." When a Russian cosmonaut makes a mistake, they keep track of it and they take money out of their pay. I would say the third thing, even before mission success, was what am I going to steal from my employer today. And we would talk about that. They were very open about this. And apparently there's a saying in Russian that if you didn't steal something at work that day, you did not have a good day. For us, and I think everybody in this room here, mission success is the thing that matters more than anything else. And for the Russians I worked with, it might have been number four on the list. So I actually was not that surprised about their incompetence.

Lately, it's become a trend to talk about Carlos as if he only started learning to play tennis well (for some, even to be educated) at 15. As if one coach is the only responsible for his success and for who he is in every aspect. Meanwhile, this was Carlos at age 10 in Murcia. One can acknowledge the work of a coach and give him credit without diminishing the player, who is the one holding the racket and coming back in historic 5: 30 hours finals, as if he didn't exist or have anything to do with his own success or who he is. A world number one, the youngest in history, isn't solely the work of a coach. Is also the work of his family, all his team and people, but above all, it's HIS OWN WORK, his talent, his commitment to his dream, and his constant sacrifice since childhood. Even if every now and then he has the audacity to need to rest for a few days with his friends or family.

The eagle-eyed among you might recognise we shared this earlier - here it is with video evidence! Every elephant is special, but there's something about Taroha. He is easygoing, gentle, and unusually nurturing for a bull. We often see him fussing over the little ones, breaking up disputes, and pulling down leaves his smaller friends can't reach. He even now holds his own bottle – although much of the contents dribble down his chin! He is also a hard-won success story. We rescued Taroha in March 2023, after KWS rangers discovered him on the shores of Lake Jipe, alone and terribly vulnerable. He arrived at the Nursery in poor health and for many months it was a daily struggle to keep him alive. But we never gave up on him:

He also added that he is a Northern boy, he grown up in Kaduna, and that he started learning Yoruba when he was 15 years old. In his interview with BBC Hausa, he added that he studied in Zaria and wants the northern people to support him in doing his job, so that it will bring development to the north and Nigeria at large. He also asked for prayers, as his job is not the kind of job that one person can do alone. He urged everyone to join hands and move Nigeria forward. He also said that going forward, you will not hear about Dangote and NNPCL fighting in the newspapers.
