but then the water becomes contaminated and bad for consumption,thereby disposing it in a sink which will somehow find its way back to the ocean and badly harm aquatic life.. if 2Million bags get dissolved in every litre, thats 2M litres. enough to take out 1/2 of River Nile 😒

The right question upon this is: Would you use this (contamined) water for your tea or your coffee? If the answer is "yes, definitely", then it's an interesting discovery. If the answer is "no, definitely", first of all the possible effect on fish and plants is to be viewed.
