WWE 2K27 NEEDS a serious graphics upgrade. I know gameplay matters WAY more than graphics, but we’re going into 2027 and WWE Games still looks way too similar to 2K22. Yeah but i think people are getting ahead of themselves. Because dropping last gen or not there was never going to be a huge leap in graphics. Maybe things like fire background elements could be touched up but i really think things are pushed as far as they’re going to get

I don't care if the game has Minecraft textures, the gameplay in these games have been soulless and uninspired since 2K22 and that's the problem. It can look as pretty as it wants, but I'm not playing this game to look at Roman Reigns sweat!

That's right i m also a gameplay guy but i dont think they will change there enitire engine that's why i dont think we get a serious gameplay changes

They can easily modify the controls and add new mechanics like more tired animations, ladder finisher dives, double down ref count, new reversals etc. A lot of small things that would add up to refresh the game. Mods are doing that on PC with the same engine, with no resources

Soon as graphics go up, more restrictions go up. We would end up losing most of the games caw parts and probably new limits of what can be done in ring - either number of weapons or number of wrestler in ring at once. It can even lead into more limits on custom arenas.

This has been my problem with the whole franchise: laziness! All I ask from my sports games is to update the roster and graphics each year. 2K flat out refuses to address the graphics.

Nah I disagree it gets to a point where the graphics can only look so much better unless they completely switch to a different engine which they wont itll cost too much in money and dev time and unless what youre chasing is the DLSS 5 slop then no the graphics are fine

Definitely agree time from them to use UE5 at some point make these games a little bit lively and maybe some better gameplay elements

They need to strip this game down and rebuild it. Instead of copying and pasting then adding new wrestlers and a new myrise story. Bring back MyCareer. Revamp Universe Mode, stop locking shit behind paywalls and myfaction bs.
