Xbox's new boot customization feature is awesome, I hope they extend it to custom animations in the future/stuff you can download off the internet. Also ... we need this on Windows / Xbox Ally, like Steam Deck has. Here's what it looks like in action.

It's a very cool addition but to not include the OG and 360 animations is a really odd decision.

I wish it has OG xbox and 360 as options. Guessing they didn't want to produce high-rez 4k Versions of 480p stuff.

I like it from a user customization perspective but I just don't get it from a branding perspective. How confusing to allow you to switch your Xbox Series console to start up looking like an Xbox One... I would be happier with custom animations, since it would be less confusing.

I swear I see wicked updates for Xbox like this all the time but they go to early access/adopters and I never see or hear about them again 😂

Custom animations would be awesome. Imagine being a content creator and booting up the system is your company/video intro. I badly want them to add the OG Xbox intro.
