Xcode's Simulator inside Claude, Codex, Cursor, or any AI tool with a browser. Would you use this version of RocketSim - Build Apps Faster?

@rocketsim_app i do this too with something like @Baconbrix's serve-sim, works great! Seems like a cool addition to RocketSim itself

@rocketsim_app yeah — the screenshot ping-pong is the worst part of ios work with claude if the agent can actually see the sim, i'd use this

@rocketsim_app I tried the same browser handoff in Cursor; the simulator view was useful, but I still wanted logs beside it. This feels much closer.

@rocketsim_app So you want a debug log console at the bottom?

@rocketsim_app Yeah — bottom or side dock is fine. I just want the run logs next to the simulator so I don't flip tabs mid-debug.

@twannl @rocketsim_app The ability to run lldb commands alongside it also would be a dream.

@twannl @rocketsim_app Yeah. A bottom console plus lldb in the same pane would close the loop — watch the sim, poke memory, no alt-tab. That's the missing half.

@rocketsim_app Would you want Simulator live inside the agent pane, or just a one-click handoff that keeps Xcode as source of truth?

@rocketsim_app I want the quickest way that keeps me in the loop and the browser is right next to my prompt, so I can't think of a quicker route at this point. You?

@PaulSolt @rocketsim_app

@rocketsim_app This is a compelling direction—giving an agent a real Simulator loop makes the feedback cycle much more concrete than screenshots alone. The browser surface also seems like a nice way to keep the tool accessible without weakening the native workflow.

@rocketsim_app *YES* it's the biggest feature i miss when i use Codex instead of Claude

@rocketsim_app So you're saying Claude does fulfill your needs? What would your dream solution be?

@rocketsim_app Claude does ok, codex does nothing. I’d like to have more control over spawning and killing sims per worktree, so they can work independently Other than that, I already use Rocketsim for agent <> sim communication so I’m good

@rocketsim_app Alright, you're my man. As soon as this is out, I want you to be bold and honest to me and tell me exactly what's missing to make your workflow even better 🚀 I need feedback from users that are really hands on!

@rocketsim_app sold

@rocketsim_app If this will solve problem that simulators overload disk space memory space it will be very useful.

@rocketsim_app does it hand the agent an accessibility tree too

@rocketsim_app Absolutely, I think you'll like the CLI documentation: RocketSim's currently the most token-efficient way of letting agents navigate your app and has fewer failures than other solutions out there.

@rocketsim_app Does this already work with the Device Hub?

@rocketsim_app Yes, you don't even need DeviceHub with this anymore!

@rocketsim_app That's awesome! Can't wait to try it.

@rocketsim_app Is there a way to avoid copying and pasting and send the prompt directly to the agent?

@rocketsim_app I tried to find that, but unfortunately not for many IDEs 😢 if you have ideas, let me know!
