App is the three.js challenge running on iOS with Expo

@cursor_ai Bruh can you ship this already 😩 we tired of looking only 😩 🙏🏾

@cursor_ai Far too dangerous to release

@cursor_ai 😩😩😩

@cursor_ai I done a similar thing. And allow users to point at any element on the sim, drop a comment, and then send the comment to the agent

@cursor_ai Chances we could use them Mac camera with the simply satire to take photos?

@nz_mrl @cursor_ai If you know how to get it working with iOS simulator I’ll add it

@nz_mrl @cursor_ai You can use rocketsim app to use mac camera for taking photos

@Baconbrix @cursor_ai Cheers - I will check it out!

@cursor_ai BRUH stop teasing 🥲

@cursor_ai thank you for adding to Cursor!!!

@cursor_ai How does this work exactly? (For codex)

Still working out the details. If we add it to expo then ‘expo start’ will start a preview that can load in any editor. For Expo Agent, which is framework agnostic, I’m looking at supporting launch.json from vscode / claude. Right now, it’s just a one-liner that hosts the simulator.

@cursor_ai you need to give us instructions, this is great :)

@ccheever @cursor_ai So goooooood

@cursor_ai Sick!

@cursor_ai when its released, i'm gonna be unstoppable

@cursor_ai I worked at the cinema and still haven't seen so many trailers. Amazing man - waiting for it 💙

@cursor_ai Native simulator loops in-editor are the unlock for real iOS agent workflows.

@cursor_ai if you could tell how you did it, will make my day

@cursor_ai webstorm?

@cursor_ai Can you explain how on claude

@cursor_ai What do i need to do to get this running in cursor?

@kouradev @cursor_ai you have any videos on building through your phone? I’m always on the go.

@cursor_ai lowkey wild how editors turning into full dev envs, next they’ll compile straight to app store build 😂

@cursor_ai Vscode ?

@cursor_ai Is this possible?

@cursor_ai Looking great, man.

@cursor_ai

@cursor_ai how ??

@cursor_ai Having the iOS simulator directly embedded into the editor loop isn't just a gimmick; it completely eliminates context-switching friction. When AI agents can instantly interact with the simulator's view hierarchy for state verification, mobile development becomes absurdly fluid.

@cursor_ai @zeddotdev community, make it yours

@cursor_ai Need this in my veins yesterday

@cursor_ai 😍

@cursor_ai Is this just window management or is there more to it?

@cursor_ai Cursor catching up is great, but I'm more curious about the debugging story — hot reload and attach to simulator process in editor is still the missing piece. Xcode's still the only one that does it seamlessly.

@cursor_ai iOS simulator in the terminal closes the last gap. React Native devs have been context-switching between 3 tools for years. agent + terminal + native toolchain is a fundamentally tighter loop. great to see Cursor catching up.

@cursor_ai Yeah I reaaaally need this. Is this a part of Expo Agent or the plugin?

@cursor_ai Is there any guide on how to do it in all the platforms you mentioned?

@cursor_ai cursor really said 'we got it too' 😭 love to see it

iOS simulator integration in the editor is genuinely useful — being able to hot-reload and inspect without switching windows is a real workflow win. The real question is how it handles multi-scheme projects (e.g. dev vs staging targets). Does it pick up your existing xcconfig or needs manual setup?
