Then why does sweat sometimes cause such a strong smell from the body, socks, or shoes? The answer lies in the bacteria living on our skin. Our skin naturally has millions of bacteria. When sweat comes out, it contains water along with some proteins and fats. These bacteria use those proteins and fats as food. During digestion, they produce certain by-products, and these by-products are what create the bad smell. The strength of body odor depends on three major things — the type of sweat gland, the kind of bacteria on the skin, and external factors like food, lifestyle, and environment. There are two main sweat glands in our body: 1. Eccrine glands These are present on exposed parts of the body like the face, hands, and forehead. They mainly produce water and salt. Their main job is to cool the body. In hot weather, sweat evaporates from the skin, taking heat away and reducing body temperature. This sweat usually causes very little odor. 2. Apocrine glands These are found mainly in the armpits and groin area. They become active after puberty and during stress or anxiety. The sweat from these glands is thicker and richer in proteins and fats. Because of this, bacteria get more food and produce stronger-smelling compounds. The common bacteria involved are Staphylococcus and Corynebacterium. They break down sweat and produce chemicals like propionic acid, which creates a sour or pungent smell. Food also affects body odor. Onion, garlic, and spicy foods can change the smell of sweat. Stress can also increase odor because it activates apocrine glands. Slow pressure, but Iran doesn't break easily and the Strait stays contested. 2. Escalate with heavier strikes. Risks a wider regional war and still doesn't guarantee control of the Strait. 3. Negotiate a deal. Achievable, but politically it looks like a capitulation after weeks of strikes. Here's the core problem: Iran sits on the Strait of Hormuz. If they stay in power and start charging tolls on every vessel from a country that sanctioned or attacked them, the entire global shipping order shifts. The U.S. can't walk away from that. But it also can't fully neutralize Iran without committing to something that looks a lot like regime change. No clean win, no clean exit. Just a stalemate that gets more expensive the longer it runs. The trip to the dentist wasn’t too bad! Thank you all for your support 💙🙏 I’ve been pretty exhausted and out of it, but I don’t think crashing or worsening. But that may be because of something interesting that happened at the visit (see below) This short video is a fun, comical, and sad chronicle of the trip. I got 2 root canals, and have to go back for 2 more visits (!!) to take care of the rest of my roughly 30 cavities. All from not being able to brush when I was extremely severe for 7 years. (I saw a dentist shortly before becoming bedridden and had no cavities) Something interesting happened that I need to investigate and report back on. When the dentist injected the numbing agent, it had a strong soothing and calming affect on my entire nervous system, sort of enhancing the effect of the Ativan and making the trip much easier on me. Why? Was it: 1. The numbing of a nerve signaling pain and thus no more pain signaling? 2. The numbing of nerves in general? 3. The specific numbing agent used and the affect it had? What would happen if I got a stellite ganglion block with that same numbing agent? (assuming it’s not the same) I’m going to call the dentist as soon as I recover a bit and find out what he used and report back! For anyone dealing with cancer(s)... Here are a few helpful tips: 1st, don't have them "test" the tumor. Tumors are the body's way of protecting us from allowing the CA cells to traverse the body and mutate healthy cells. Why aren't they packing the wound? - There is NO WAY it was a .30-06 or a SOFT-TIP .30-06 round. NONE of that would even matter with the amount of power and FPS behind a .30-06 round. A soft-tip round would actually create an even bigger EXIT WOUND than a standard FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) round. BUT... We DIDN'T even get an EXIT WOUND at all, unless the hole we see is the exit wound. Even at a 9 degree angle, shooting from the roof position, a .30-06 would of 100% went RIGHT THROUGH Charlie's neck. Maybe even worse. There is NO WAY the bullet would deflect and go STRAIGHT DOWN after hitting his spine or neck bones. It would of CONTINUED DIRECTLY THROUGH. - Where is the RIFLE in the pictures of him on the steps? There is no visible RIFLE in his pant legs, and it WOULD not fit in that backpack especial with the barrel being 2 ft long itself even broken down, and especially the stock/butt of the gun and the scope fit into a pair of skinny jeans. HOW did Tyler get the RIFLE ON THE ROOF? - Why don't we have more footage, ESPECIALLY of when he took the shot or just with the RIFLE in his hands at ANY POINT? Why does the video start with him running?
