Umar doesn't have much offense when not in mount or back mount and isn't a good guard passer either. At the top 15 level, it ends up being a round winner at most. This sweep is impressive though cause Umar holds and stalls position very well

Its good escape but Umar also doesnt try and latch on like others he just rolls around with less energy being wasted. Maybe he felt the strength and knew not worth struggling and losing energy? Will be interesting to see how he comes back as some aura lost after this fight

They all got pillow hands so if you can defend the take downs or get up after they take you down you can win easy

it is not a sweep. song supposed to take the back from this deep half scenario but eventually he got space and can back to turtle the go to stand up. meanwhile umar got panicked when song back to turtle, he rushed to take song's back before hooking his feet.

deep half is the one position where being properly flexible actually pays. i get my hips through gaps that should not open and it annoys every wrestler in the room
