Why is our history being hidden from us? Think about it. Every community in the world - the Jews, the Japanese, the Blacks - they all know their history of pain and struggle. They remember what was done to them. But look at us. We are the only community that has been persecuted and enslaved for the longest time in history. Our culture was broken, our civilization was twisted, and our rights were snatched away for centuries. Yet, today’s generation doesn't even know the depth of what we survived. It’s time to stop being silent. It’s time to wake up and remember who we are!

If no deal is better than 50% tariffs and 10’s of thousands of people losing their jobs, I think we deserve more than our Government saying “trust us bro” when we ask why they did it. We need to see this deal. But we won’t, instead what we will see this week is Carney & the Premier’s with the usual - “team canada” “we are united against Trump” “we can be our own best customers” and “Canada strong” talking points while they drop a trillion of our tax dollars to keep Canadian industries alive.

Foreigners are coming in trying to take over, and now they’re even pushing the narrative that they built this country and that this land belongs to them. And the Democratic Party is helping push that lie while letting these illegal aliens move into our communities, get political power, and take over the very places our families built. And the saddest part? Too many of our own people are helping them do it. Chicago Flips Red has been warning y’all. We keep saying it: Wake up before it’s too late. Beijing knows it, Moscow knows it, and they're using Iran as an experiment to see how long we can last before we break. Yet at home, we are paralyzed, arguing over social media nonsense, while the evil in the world grows right in front of us. Freedom isn't automatic and peace isn't free. It takes the unglamorous, expensive, and difficult work of standing by our promises, backing up our word with strength, and refusing to make deals with the very enemies trying to destroy us. If we want to keep this country, we have to stop taking our freedom for granted and start living like a people determined to stay free.

Africa is a continent bursting with vibrant rhythms, soulful melodies, and unparalleled creativity. Our artists, producers, songwriter, and innovators are crafting sounds that resonate across borders yet, despite owning the art and the culture, we often find ourselves fighting for space in the global market. Why? Because we don’t fully own or control the platforms that showcase our music. We lack the infrastructure, the investment, and the unified voice needed to truly capitalize on our rich heritage. The biggest challenge isn’t just about competing it’s about collaboration. We need to shift our mindset from scarcity to abundance. Instead of fighting for limited space, we should be working together as Africans to build our own streaming platforms, protect our rights, and invest in our craft. When we own the channels, we own the narrative. When we tell our story, it’s authentic, powerful, and unmistakably African. Our originality and roots are our greatest assets. Albertans have said over and over and over again, "No coal mining in the eastern slopes." The UCP government recently lifted the moratorium on coal mining in our mountains to avoid a lawsuit that they caused because of their own incompetence. This government promised to protect our mountains and yet here we are calling open season on mining and risking irreparable damage to our economy, agriculture sector, recreational lands and water. We need to keep up the pressure to tell Danielle Smith and her UCP this is unacceptable. We want mountains not mines.

This is the 5th year in a row the Dobsonvillle community comes to protest at my our home in Soweto. The guy in the pink shoes and hat instigated this with his friend came with a white BMW, my father was outside having a smoke and my siblings and I just chilling at home with our mom. This is traumatic, community ambush & humiliation. The lack of community and neighbourhood is insane. Although some of our neighbours we very kind and instructed the crowd to go. We have considered to move and have slept with security full time outside our home for weeks.eskom needs to be aware of this and protect their employees. #eskom #eskom
