He didn't roll off the base. The fielder fell on him and knocked him off.

@TalkinYanks Well then he must just not be very smart

You mean stepped on and forced off the bag

The announcer is fucking stupid. I am sorry but there is no way you can legally apply a tag there. Based on his logic anytime anyone safely makes it to a base you can just beat the shit out of them till they roll off the base.

Fucking Yankees trash. Always looking for things to go their way.

@TalkinYanks We all know if it was a Yankee they’d call him out

Extremely common insufferable yankees player

Why not just bring a small bat and beat the players until they relinquish the base so you can tag them?

He fucking fell on top of him and knocked him off

He rolled off the bag because your teammate put a cleat in his leg.

First baseman says he doesn’t know where to throw it??? You’re a professional first baseman and you don’t know to touch first and move to the inside of the bag and have a clear throwing lane?

@TalkinYanks Ryan weathers is a moron and a cry baby surprised his mom didn’t cry for him

@TalkinBaseball_ is everyone from new york just naturally a retard

@TalkinBaseball_ You clowns really are on a roll recently

Dude got stabbed with metal cleats. No fucking chance you can call him out.

Ump clearly signals he was pushed off the bag. He clearly was pushed off the bag. Jazz has no issue with the call because he knows, while it was accidental, the ump was right. Weathers was being a jerk. Mayo took his win away.

Ask Weathers if he wants someone to jump up and land on the back of his leg with steel cleats! He will change his demeanor real quick!!

The fielder’s action caused the runner to leave the base. To me, the action of landing on the runner was accidental, so it was obstruction (or interference), and the runner is safe. If the fielder had deliberately stepped on him, then it’s automatic ejection (and very long ban).

Ya let's introduce the great new strategy of stomping on baserunners so fielders can tag them out while they writhe in pain Stupid ass

@TalkinBaseball_ It's official. Ryan Weathers is a douche

@TalkinBaseball_ Ryan Weather was this stupid in San Diego too.

Dalton Rushing would be called every slur in the book for this 😭😭😭

Looks like Ryan Weathers didn't watch the play or the umpire's call that he was removed from the bag due to the fielder's actions.

Imagine stepping on his testicles 😂

Yeah… NO … not happening Ump called it right away & properly The fielder pushed him off with his whole body starting with his feet 🤣🤣

@TalkinBaseball_ “Idk where to throw it” every player ever is taught to communicate inside or outside on a throw like that.

This is one of those "grey area" rules in the MLB which is different in other major sports. Enmanuel Valdez got called out last year for trying to call time getting hurt on the slide, NFL player is hurt and drops a live ball it's a fumble, NBA plays on if someone gets hurt on a turnover, and NHL the same. I'm not saying it shouldn't have been called a dead ball, but there needs to be consistency on it in the MLB. If it was a dropped flyball and the player tore his knee they don't stop the runner and the player here wasn't intentionally pushed off the bag

At least Jazz had class about it Weathers is officially a POS

@TalkinBaseball_ Douchebag

@TalkinYanks What a donkey

Yeah, I'd roll off the bag too if a defender cleated my knee pit

Dude put his entire fucking body weight on him

Yankees gonna Yankee

Tyler calihan broke his wrist catching a ball and because he couldn’t pull the ball out of his glove with his other hand before his limp hand dropped it, it became a home run
