This not about Ewes alone it's general. I once got insulted by Dangbes cos they thought i didn't understand their language. Another time it's an Ewe who insulted me cos she thought the same. My simple response to both instances were "thank you" in the specific dialect.

They really like doing that if you walking with them in group and you happen to be different from them during a conversation they sometimes don’t want you to get what they saying then they change to ewe It’s not a good thing at all One reason why people dislike them
