1/ 2 August 2025, the children of the Gazan al-Sultan family, Wisam, Fathi, Mira and little Taymour put on their best clothes to go to school and get their report cards. They go to a private school in Gaza City, but their mother says they've studied online for parts of the school year, because they were displaced. On their way home, they see aid being airdropped from planes. As you can see at the end of the video, there are names of IDF soldiers written in Hebrew on the wall of their living room, above where the soldiers must have slept. The current physical activity guidelines undervalue vigorous activity. Vigorous activity may be 4–9× more potent than moderate activity for reducing all-cause mortality, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer risk. The exercise guidelines assume a 2:1 ratio between moderate- and vigorous-intensity activity: two minutes of moderate activity equals one minute of vigorous. That's why the recommendations are 150–300 minutes of moderate or 75–150 minutes of vigorous activity each week. But new data suggest that ratio is wrong. In this brand-new journal-club episode, Brady Holmer (Brady Holmer) and I unpack a groundbreaking study that should change how we think about activity for disease prevention. The research identified that 1 minute of vigorous activity is roughly equivalent to 4–9 minutes of moderate activity, and 53–94 minutes of light activity, for disease risk reduction. It also shows a clear dose-response for vigorous activity that’s much weaker for moderate activity and barely detectable for light activity. We also do a deep dive into why vigorous activity is so powerful, the underlying mechanisms, and discuss practical takeaways, including how even very brief bouts of vigorous movement (think “exercise snacks”) can produce meaningful health benefits. They were added to the agenda of House through a supplementary list🤭 So, anyway, no MP would have gotten a chance to read the loooong bills, so they did away with debate altogether. Very convenient, no? During this, in background there were protests on #SIR, #VoteChori and chants of "Loktantra ki hatya bandh karo" (stop murdering #democracy), "Shame, Shame!" could be heard! But even this wasn't enough! Six Months ago, I launched an appeal for Femi who is battling Colon Cancer. It has been a very long ride but we thank God for where we are now. Femi is doing so much better and we are confident he will beat this cancer. After the initial surgery in May, we waited for the oncologist report to determine the next steps. We consulted with two different oncologist and the conclusions were more or less the same that he must undergo 12 cycles of Chemo at the first instance. We had an initial target of N12m but all in all, we raised in total N9,511,824 and have spent a total of N9,405,829.72. Below is the breakdown of the outflow. 1. Surgery between May 21st and June 1st - N4,270,179 2. Chest CT Scan on the 13th July, 2024 - N122,000 3. Chemo Fitness on the 27th July 2024 - N45,850 4. 💜 I'm taking a step back from social media posting so I can fully focus on trading. I believe between now and early-July, $GME will be a major bull zone with its corresponding T+35 FTD echoes. I believe the peak of this zone will be $30+ and is likeliest to be within days of: (in order of likelihood) 1: May 26 (4/07 + T34) 2: May 12 (4/08 + C34 & 3/23 + T35) 3: June 23 into July 2 (Convertible Note #2 De-Legend pump, coupled with the T+35 from 5/1/26 FTDs) 4: May 6 (12/03/25 + T105, this one seems too soon, but still very bullish) In mid to end of July, I am foreseeing some type of catalyst to the downside and we will likely have downward/sideways pressure until late-August/mid-September. This is part of my ABC theory (Annual Boomie Cycle), which is reinforced by RK's Dog Days of Summer (July 3 to Aug 11). For trading, be very careful with June and July OPEX. There are compelling reasons why the Thoothukudi event warrants closer scientific scrutiny. This morning, a viral video is spreading around Twitter claiming a woman is a “Black Karen,” after walking into an Indonesian business and accusing them of stealing black culture. Let’s provide some context here, as a lot of people are spreading this video in order to try and sell some sort of narrative. 1) This video is 3 years old. 2) The woman’s name is Alewia Tola Roba. 3) She was in a business called “Trap Tea - The Boba Plug” which was located in Aurora, Colorado. They are still in business today, but have since been renamed as “Banned Boba Bar.” They are a minority-owned, woman-owned business that has been around since August of 2020. 4) The reason why Roba accused them of “stealing black culture” is because the term “trap” refers to a genre of music that originated within black communities in the 1990s. The term “plug” refers to something that is distributed, including drugs, music, etc. It is a term also seen by many to be tied closely to black culture. 5) The woman walked into the business thinking she was supporting a black business and was disappointed to see it was owned by an Indonesian family. 6) Calling someone a “black Karen,” is like calling someone a “black white person.” It’s definitely not the right term to use. Regardless of all of this, the business owners here have every right to run their business how they choose. It’s doubtful that they said to themselves when opening the business, “I’m going to steal black culture to make money.” I also think it’s great that they decided to change their name. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a Boba tea from them if I’m ever in Aurora. As for the woman, we don’t know what she was going through. We don’t know if she had a really bad day, or if she was fired from her job, dumped by her boyfriend, or simply was feeling as though racism in America was preventing her from being able to achieve what she wanted to do. The owners of the business responded very appropriately. Sometimes just a little understanding, and the need to heard is all people want. Listen to people, learn why they feel the way they do. We all can do this better.

Hi everyone! Just rolled out access for NoSpoon Studios to the first 110 folks or so. Huge thanks to Karan and Amit at Luma - thanks to them, I have a few more people that had commented getting complimentary beta access soon as well :). These videos are created with a single agent that does everything from concept to completion (including editing the video together). Therer are longer options too, but for the sake of cost and this demo, you'll be working with 20s max generations. The entire agent was built to only run Ray2 as the video model. My stack is this custom agent of mine (using OAI) > Ray2 for the video > Replit for the app for now. In the meantime, for those with access: here's a video tutorial on how to use the site. I'm quite exhausted, but here's the gist: 1. Sign up (and remember your password lol). Beta testers got free credits, but these are a bit limited - rolling out to a few more peeps but have to budget and need to expand my current code (which means redeploying - so expect more of you to have 2 free credits and access tmr! I have to find out the max I can allot with budget). 2. Just hit "generate short video" without anything in the prompt box and the agent will start immediately with the logline. Be very patient, wait about 6-8 minutes, and it will continue to output all of the scenes and processing - it's very important you do not refresh or navigate away from that tab at this time. You'll see your final video generated and displayed at the bottom of your screen once complete, along with a watermark (paid users don't have a watermark). You can also access your loglines and videos in your history tab, too :). You must refresh the page only after your generation in order to generate a new video - otherwise you'll lose your generation (annoying I know). 3. You can also input your own custom prompt! Control the story this way. Single words work great even, like "thriller" or "spy thriller set in greece" or even "black and white film noir" etc etc. It's not as great with animated styles yet for consistency, just a heads up. 4. Video: China firm to unveil world’s most ‘adorable’ humanoid robot for homes, schools | Christopher McFadden, Interesting Engineering Fourier’s latest humanoid robot, the GR‑3, is designed for domestic and educational environments. Fourier Robotics, the Shanghai-based robotics firm behind the GR-1 and GR-2 models, is preparing to launch its GR-3 humanoid robot on August 6. Early glimpses of the new robot, including a sneak-peek video, reveal a smaller, friendlier design, described as possibly the “most adorable humanoid robot yet.” Concrete information is scarce, but early reports suggest the robot will be smaller than its predecessors. According to some reports, the GR-3 will likely stand at around 4 feet 5 inches (134 cm). This makes it notably smaller than the earlier GR-1 (5.4 feet/165 cm) and GR-2 (5.74 feet/175 cm) models from Fourier. 2 years ago, i dreamed of joining vshojo. i made it past first round of auditions and got too excited. tho the 2nd round was just about equipment/pc & internet specs, i didnt pass, and it crushed me. i felt quite dumb for thinking i had a chance 🥲 this year was another chance, and i didnt make it past the first round, but i had a lot of fun making my video- it said to make a 2 min video “explaining who you are” & i struggled sm w the concept that the end result was silly & probably a little cringe. but i wanted to share it anyways, cause i am, or at least /was/ proud of it. many vtubers dream of joining an agency and believe it’ll make all their dreams come true, others find them evil and deceptive. i dont think it’s so black & white. i still would like to join one one day, mostly for camaraderie and support with the things i struggle w on my own. it may never happen, but i am still very thankful to have so many people cheering me on regardless- if it weren’t for them i might not have believed in myself enough to keep auditioning for things at all. i’m excited to see what 2025 has in store for us all. thank you for being here with me! 🤍 💌 ~love, inko

ChatGPT is going to DECIMATE the interior and exterior design profession. I posted a video of the prompt below for a project that cost me under $200 and 20 hours of work (free labor). I wanted to turn my deck landing into something useful. Currently it was just a convenient place to hide a bunch of outdoor tools, compost bins and other garbage, but it was very unsightly. It gets a good amount of sunlight so I thought it would be a good spot for training climbers (cucumbers, peas, pumpkins etc). The one thing I didn’t prompt ChatGPT was for a materials and tools list to do the job even though I knew exactly what I needed. I spent $35 in raised bed soil (4 bags (1.5cu ft ea) of organic raised bed soil, 2 bags of compost and cow manure, $13 on a stone chisel, and $135 on stone, $7 on concrete and $2 on a treated post. I used cedar boards that were essentially free that I’ve collected over the years. All in cost roughly $200. Took me maybe 15-20 hours of work total from ripping boards to leveling the stone. It’s about 95% done, still need to sand and finish the boards with food grade oil (probably use butcher block beeswax) and cut a few more of the stones to get them perfect. The bed measures about 8 feet across and 16” wide. Planted a few cucumber varieties that should sprout next week. Will probably accompany it with some dill, basil, and some flowers. Next step is to find a way to train the climbers. Need to come up with a clever idea to support the weight of the cukes but also want it to look nice and also avoid drilling into the cedar if possible. Open to ideas. I’ll update pics throughout the year to see how it turns out. In summary: Use ChatGPT to give you free outside landscape designs instantly. It’s extremely impressive. You can just build things (with HOA permission—I didn’t ask 🤫)
