Seeing the new DLC announcement "Songs of the Past" brings me back to the last moments of Blood and Wine in The Witcher 3. The final conversation between Geralt and Yennefer marks the completion of their love story. If you achieved the true ending, the two of them are granted their wish of living a quiet life in a beautiful vineyard. It's a quiet moment, but an important one that Geralt has dreamt of for years, and it's well earned. "I'm not going anywhere" is such a bittersweet line. I can't see CD Projekt Red ever topping this, but stranger things have happened. 🍷
