Yes, Dak Prescott threw too many interceptions last year. But from 2016-2021, he had the 5th lowest interception rate in the *entire league.* Talked about why I think Dak is clearly a top ten guy on today's QB draft:

Take away his #1 WR and one of the best route runners in the league, no Gallup, a Russian Roulette of an O-Line every week and a playbook more cute than smart. Oh and the tips and drops! He’s not Superman and so many fans expect him to be.

I have defended Dak for years. He’s very talented and likely in the top ten but he’s still a good QB at a time of Great QBs. The timing of the interceptions (against the good teams) is relevant to the conversation.

He’s like 8th in the league and there’s no way around him not being 8th in the league or so

@Tkirk3 I can actually agree with this and think he’s a good quarterback, but the interception total last year was very alarming and they weren’t just the other teams fault.

With the addition of Cooks, Gallup one more year removed from injury and a wonderful chemistry with superstar CeeDee Lamb, I see Dak taking a big step forward and getting back to a low interception rate with plenty of TDs. Awesome stuff! 🙌

Dak has replaced Romo as the bar of how to judge football intelligence. If you think Dak is a good QB, you get football, as evident by all the stats Mina has thrown out. If you think Dak is a bad QB, you simply shouldn’t be listened to. Period.
