Two almost opposite views, just a few months apart. Piers told me my reasoning on Iran was wrong because Russia, China and North Korea would not agree that a nuclear armed Iran would be a danger to the world. But not long ago, he was saying that “the rest of the world”, apart from China, Russia and North Korea, does think a nuclear armed Iran would be a danger. So first he argued that those countries do not matter. Then he argued that they do matter. All to decide whether a fanatical theocratic regime, dedicated to annihilating Israel and other forces for good, should be allowed nuclear weapons.
