My Paris was to be put down after a month of not eating at a kill shelter. The photos are the day I brought her home and now. Shelter dogs make the best friends!! They know they were saved and are so grateful! I have 3!! God bless them all!!

I had a deaf boxer and he was white as well. I just taught the dog commands in sign language and he was an amazing smart dog. Most breeders will put a deaf or blind dog down and that’s why I had the boxer.

We have a newly adopted rescue who dies zoomies in the house .. we love the pure joy ❤️

I adopted my Pit on her death day. High kill shelters should be illegal. The one I got her at keeps them 10 days and are then euthanized 🤬💔

This was my father - he and my Mom would sometimes visit the pound (this was back in the 70s, when they were just The Pound). They would end up falling in love with one dog - usually with days left to live. And the day before it was to be put down, Dad would stop & get the dog
