SANParks has launched an investigation to trace and identify a man seen in viral social media footage allegedly engaging in dangerous and unlawful driving inside the Kruger National Park. They described the incident as deeply concerning and condemned the driver’s actions as reckless, irresponsible and a serious violation of conservation laws. According to SANParks, the footage shows the individual illegally crossing rivers with a vehicle, driving on roads that had officially been closed, and operating the vehicle recklessly within the protected area. Authorities said the conduct displayed a blatant disregard for public safety, environmental protection measures, conservation regulations and the authority of park management. SANParks stressed that national parks are protected under strict environmental legislation, including the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) and the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act (NEMPAA). These laws prohibit activities that could damage ecosystems, threaten biodiversity, endanger wildlife or compromise visitor safety. The organisation warned that violations could result in criminal charges, substantial fines, imprisonment, civil claims for damages and administrative sanctions. The agency highlighted that driving through rivers and ignoring road closures can severely damage sensitive ecosystems and infrastructure, while also putting both humans and animals at risk. Road closures in the park are often implemented for critical safety reasons, including flooding, poor road conditions and wildlife movement. SANParks confirmed that officials are actively working to identify the suspect and warned that once located, he could face the full might of the law, including fines and a possible ban from all SANParks-managed protected areas. SANParks said, “We are looking for this individual, and he will face the music.” The organisation also confirmed that gate officials allegedly seen in the video encouraging or supporting the conduct will face consequences for violating park regulations and staff conduct rules. Members of the public with information that may assist investigators have been urged to contact SANParks or the nearest law enforcement authorities. SANParks

Autonomous region of Kurdistan (Iraq) The Iraqi federal military has yesterday prevented Kurdish farmers from cultivating their land. As the footage shows: brute force was used to prevent the Kurdish farmers from reaching their lands. This happened near the Shanagha (Shenaxeh) village of Sargaran (Sergeran) - this is one of four villages that regularly faces these challenges by the Iraqi federal government. In short: During the arabisation process of Kurdish territories under the Iraqi government (Saddam Hussein) and the genocide of the Kurdish people - Iraq has gifted these lands to Arab settlers. With the downfall of the Iraqi Ba’ath regime - these settlers should’ve had their claims nullified, yet the new Iraqi government failed to do so. Now these Iraqi settlers continue to claim these lands for themselves while Kurds are not allowed to cultivate their lands. This is a repeated process, happens every year before spring, during spring and in the harvest season. The Iraqi federal government has recently issued a bill that will resolve these problems and reverse the demographic-changing processes by the Iraqi regime, yet they weren’t implemented. Good news: local mediation and the steadfastness of Kurdish farmers has resulted in them being allowed to cultivate their lands. I’d like to underline: what the Iraqi federal army is doing there is a violation of the Iraqi Constitution and a violation of the area of responsibilities of the Iraqi military.

Subject: Urgent Appeal for Review of Suo Moto Order on Stray Dogs – Protecting Compassion, Law, and Public Sentiment To The Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Supreme Court of India New Delhi Respected Sir, We, the compassionate citizens of India, write to you with deep concern over the recent suo moto Supreme Court order directing the mass removal of community dogs from the streets of Delhi-NCR to shelters. While we understand the importance of public safety, this order has created fear, grief, and unrest among millions of Indians who love and care for animals. Our Concerns: 1. Emotional & Cultural Bond Over 60% of citizens across rural and urban India care for and feed community dogs. Dogs are a part of our traditions, offering protection, companionship, and unconditional love. 2. Religious & Moral Values India’s cultural and religious ethos promotes compassion towards all living beings (Ahimsa). This order is seen as going against the moral responsibility enshrined in Article 51A(g) of our Constitution. 3. Impact on Youth, Students, Farmers, and Rural Citizens The youth, students, and rural communities—who are often the first to help injured or hungry animals—feel personally attacked by this decision. In villages and farms, community dogs are guardians and companions, part of the social fabric. 4. Practical & Humane Concerns India does not have the infrastructure to house thousands of dogs humanely for life. In reality, mass relocation to overcrowded pounds often leads to neglect, disease, and premature death. 5. Violation of Established Animal Welfare Rules The Animal Birth Control (Dogs) Rules, 2023 mandate sterilization, vaccination, and release—not permanent removal. The present order contradicts long-standing, proven, and humane stray dog management laws. 6. Proven Scientific Solution Exists The ABC–ARV method (Animal Birth Control & Anti-Rabies Vaccination) is recognized globally and by the WHO as the most effective, humane solution to manage dog populations and rabies risk. 7. Perception of Bias & Wrong Messaging The association of this decision with individuals known for anti-dog sentiments creates mistrust and polarizes citizens. 8. Democratic & Electoral Sentiment This order risks alienating a large segment of the population, potentially affecting public trust in institutions and governance. Our Appeal We respectfully request: Immediate stay on the implementation of the current order. Constitution of a larger bench to review the decision with inputs from the Animal Welfare Board of India, veterinarians, animal rights organizations, and public representatives. Adoption of ABC–ARV as the humane, lawful, and sustainable national policy for community dog management. We firmly believe that protecting both public safety and animal welfare is possible through science, compassion, and law—not mass removals. SAVE DWARKA (DELHI) FOREST : 120-acre LAND HOME TO SEVERAL SPECIES IS ENDANGERED. NEED TO ADOPT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT APPROACH | The DWARKA FOREST of DELHI is home to several species of both flora and fauna. Wildlife includes 65 bird species, 50 antelope (Nilgai) and many other animals flourish in the forest. This forest is close to the SAHIBI RIVER. Although it is a newly developed forest (circa 2008 onwards), it falls in the migratory route of birds visiting the Great Najafgarh Lake. The 120-acre land was acquired by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in the 1960s and then by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) around 2008. In 2021, RLDA launched its Bijwasan Railway Redevelopment Project. During the above project, RLDA contractors instead of cutting or planting trees, buried them alive in the soil. They had no valid permission to do so until 2024. The forest department had imposed a fine of Rs 5.93 crore on RLDA for illegal felling of 990 trees in the area in 2022. Cutting trees in the city requires permission from the forest department under the Delhi Preservation of Trees Act, 1994. However, if an area is a protected forest or deemed forest, permission is also required under the Forest Conservation Act, 2023. After the fine was imposed and paid by RLDA in 2022, RLDA again started cutting trees and burying them alive. In February 2024, the National Green Tribunal found that the land on which the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is constructing the Bijwasan Rail Terminal station in Dwarka is not a protected forest or deemed forest area. The tribunal has disposed of the plea which said the terminal was being built on "Protected" forest land. This allowed the project to proceed. The tribunal also observed that the Forest Conservation Act, 2023, which was recently amended, no longer covers deemed forests. "Ecology is the permanent economy" We need to protect our flora and fauna and adopt a sustainable development approach. #SaveDwarkaForest #Delhi #Heatwave #climateaction #sustainability #UNEP #BreakingNews‌ #Environment #India

STATE CAPTURE WILL BE DEFEATED ON SATURDAY — PART 1 OF 3 FRESH STATE CAPTURE EXPOSÉS Continuous painstaking parliamentary oversight into the unprecedented levels of State Capture by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has revealed a more frightening and unhinged pervasive canker than previously imagined. Unmistakably, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government isn’t satisfied with the atrocious grabbing of state lands within the Cantonment/Labone/Ridge/Airport enclave which they have become notorious for following my unimpeachable exposés. The NPP’s marauding looting brigade has now descended on Agric Extension Lands at the prime El-Wak Sports Stadium area in the national capital. The land in issue was originally acquired by the State under Certificate of Title dated 20th March, 1936 for an Aerodrome. On 16th October, 1959, the Government of Ghana issued a Certificate of Allocation to the Chief Agriculture Officer. This State land has from 1959 been protected by all Presidents since the 1992 Constitution vests all public lands in the President to be held on behalf of, and in trust for, the people of Ghana. Curiously, under Ghana’s Land Use and Spatial Planning Act, 2016 (Act 925), the re-zoning of public spaces require parliamentary approval, however, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has not requested nor received parliamentary approval for the re-zoning of the Agric Extension Lands which is the latest victim of their mindless land grab. In a most reckless, unpatriotic and extremely greedy move, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has forced out all Agric officials and has proceeded to illegally share that piece of prime land to NPP government officials and cronies. A parliamentary oversight field inspection to the Agric Extension Lands in issue conducted only yesterday December 4, 2024 confirmed that all previous bungalows have been demolished. Contractors are hurriedly completing the erection of a wall while others build residential accommodation with great speed at day and night. A formal search conducted at the Lands Commission by my oversight team has confirmed an interesting list of new NPP politically exposed owners of the Agric Extension Lands. The land has now been demarcated into 60 parcels and dished out like confetti by President Akufo-Addo to his cronies at ridiculously low prices. There was no attempt on the part of President Akufo-Addo to be transparent as the deal was shrouded in utmost secrecy and never advertised to the general public. The new NPP land owners have been offered a 99-year lease by President Akufo-Addo. None of them paid more than GHS300,000.00 for a plot. Top NPP officials who are beneficiaries of this latest State Capture scheme include Nana Attobrah Quaicoe, the current Director-General of the National Intelligence Bureau and NPP MP Kennedy Osei Nyarko. From the official certificate of our search signed by Elder Ekow Edwards (Assistant Geomatic Engineer), President Akufo-Addo granted the 99-year lease to Nana Attobrah Quaicoe on 11th May, 2021. Mr. Quaicoe is the proud owner of Parcel Number 8. See attached to this publication an irrefutable copy of the official search certificate. Nana Attobrah Quaicoe was the Executive Director of Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko’s Danquah Institute before President Akufo-Addo controversially appointed him Deputy Director-General of the then BNI in April 2019, and subsequently substantive Director-General. When the top echelons of our national security apparatus are actively engaged in disgraceful State Capture, one can begin to understand why all the previous State Capture cases including the recent dawn raid of GIS lands and the criminal demolishing of the North Labone home of the Lomotey/Adotey family by the politically connected Dream Citrix which the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration claimed security officials were investigating have all turned out to be a pathetic charade.
