Yesterday I found out there's a "Filter" in some controllers that makes your stick "jitter" to improve aim assist close range, this was used by pros at LAN (allegedly), how can you use and defend using this shit, if I download a macro on my mouse that jitters it... so I can have no recoil long range, I'd be instantly banned, now the problem is, its been banned in ALGS but ranked is gonna be infested with this shit. Just ban custom controllers already or atleast do something about it. Shit is getting really sad to be some of the only MNK players left in this amazing game (yes i complain about aimassist alot and i just need to get good i get it) but alot of people (chat) have said that its really sad to be a casual MNK player at this point cause its impossible to keep upshow more

if i used this same thing on mnk it wouldnt be called a "Filter"; it would be called cheating, and i would be banned. i was sent one of those controllers for free to test out and it has remained unopened for weeks. ive been using the original version of their controller instead. very obviously not something the developers would want in their game and shouldnt be allowed even in casual gamemodes.

I think you should try it first before you speak on it , I’ve tried it on 3 different controllers and my honest opinion I think it’s not good at all. Most of the time it gets in the way unless it’s close range , in the clips the “shaking” is just an exaggeration of someone having the settings high for the filter . It would only maybe benefit average players or below average but it would maybe be a 1% benefit to their gameplay . People are blowing it completely out of proportion

I understand what you are saying, but if we don't do anything about it now or speak up about it, then when do we drawn the line? Cause like you say the controllers are getting way better and more advanced and now they have a script to do auto jitters, and if that gets more advanced at some point it can just do jitter aiming for you long range and potentially have 0 recoil. So i get what you are saying and it probably doesn't have that big of an impact right now but maybe further down the line it just nullifies or "helps" alot with recoil when that should be a part of the skillgap

It’s annoying having to play completely differently than u know u are capable of because people are literally playing with aimbot. Custom controllers with more sensitive sticks mean aim assist is being activated much more often while aiming. This is aimbot. They are cheating.

remove all aim assist completely and implement gyro aim for controller, force the controller players to actually learn to aim like every single MnK user

banning custom controllers is literally impossible. sadly unless aim assist is nerfed this will always be an issue. unless they make it where everytime you open apex they do a software check they literally cant do anything about this. and if they do make that a thing, that means no software in the background while playing the game. so keyboard software, no mouse software, or anything else you have for your hardware. i dont think its really something they will do.

Not every custom controller comes with rc filter software. Only firebird and genesis and I think gamesir 8k . Not to sure about game sir. But my battle beaver doesn’t . And others don’t . Mainly the Japanese/Chinese distributors sell it

this is what cronus used to do when it wasnt as high tech it isnt a jitter aim it simulates stick drift. so if a controller has stick drift it does the exact same thing that this does. if you do a real jitter aim on controller like on pc u have no recoil but you have noaim assist

Apex isnt accuracy or skill based game. AA is stupid strong. Devs want a game that new roller console players can just hop into and have fun. They made one of the best mnk fps esport games of all time, then aim assisted it into oblivion. What a waste.
