Yesterday the respected scientific organisation Copernicus released data for 2024 and it’s not good, at all. Last year was the hottest on record for 170 years and that comes as no suprise because the hottest 10 years on record have come in the last 10. The graphs are going... up, the predictive trend says that human life will be fundamentally affected and climate breakdown will be very serious. It affects every human. Human mobility will vastly increase and among other aspects, the impact on migration given the trends in the other direction are extremely worrying. Humans need to work together across political, ideological, religious boundaries in everyone’s interest. Our kids, theirs, and theirs. Young people everywhere. That’s why I’ve supported the @dutyofcarecampaign by young Aussies calling on the government to take their interests into account in every decision. We shouldn’t have to ask, really. We conclude that the origin of human chromosome 2 is the product of an ancestral fusion of telomere to telomere. Fusion of two pre existing chromosomes. That does not happen in nature. It can’t happen in nature. So here’s what they’re saying. You got two fully formed, fully functional chromosomes, and on the end are the telomeres that protect those chromosomes when the cells divide. And that’s why they’re on the end, they take the hit. It’s a trauma in a cell when those chromosomes are pulled apart and some of the DNA doesn’t make it. So nature puts telomeres on the end to take the hit, so the good DNA remains intact, and that’s why it’s on the ends. We're adding a trillion dollars to our debt, which our kids and grandkids are going to have to pay somehow, every three months, and then soon it's going to be every two months and then every month. And then, the only thing we'll be able to pay is interests. And it's just like a person at scale that has racked up too much credit card debt. This does not have a good ending.
