Eleanor T you knew someone would post this! Brad Garlinghouse clears up XRP use when compared to RLUSD. I’ll add more context. Presently banks in the U.S. cannot use crypto until clarity acts creates separation of governing bodies and who looks after what. Also, the USD is still the predominant bridge currency, so that will be used more than any other asset, including XRP. When XRP is the cheaper hop, banks like Euroexim and others will utilize XRP, but until there is 100% clarity in the U.S. banks will not use crypto assets, and RLUSD and/or other U.S. denominated stablecoins will be utilized first. When there is clarity, and banks can use crypto assets, they now have a fully functioning RTGS stack through Ripple Prime, GTreasury, Palisade, Rail, Ripple Payments/RippleNet, EverNorth for XRP treasury and use.

The results are in!⭐ Over the last six months, we’ve been working with 38 global institutions on one of the largest CBDC experiments to date. And we’re really excited about the results. In the second phase of sandbox testing, we explored more complex use cases. My bipartisan National Commission on Robotics Act will help ensure America stays competitive and turn innovation into real world results for our workforce and economy.
