Presently banks in the U.S. cannot use crypto until clarity acts creates separation of governing bodies and who looks after what. Also, the USD is still the predominant bridge currency, so that will be used more than any other asset, including XRP. When XRP is the cheaper hop, banks like Euroexim and others will utilize XRP, but until there is 100% clarity in the U.S. banks will not use crypto assets, and RLUSD and/or other U.S. denominated stablecoins will be utilized first.
