First: we are going to fix the city’s broken contracting system to make sure that your tax dollars are being spent efficiently and transparently. By bringing contracting under one entity, the City Administrator, we can set consistent citywide standards that will cut red tape, reduce delays, and save taxpayer dollars. Second: we are going to make our ballots shorter and simpler. That long voter packet that you received in 2024 had 15 ballot measures on it. In the same election, Oakland had 3. San Jose had 1. San Francisco makes it so easy to put things on the ballot that our elected officials don’t have to do their jobs. The result? San Franciscans have to fill out lengthy, confusing ballots, including contradictory measures and sometimes poorly written laws. This will ensure that ballot measures reflect real citywide priorities—and that elected officials focus on the job voters sent them here to do: delivering results for the people of San Francisco. Third: accountability. San Franciscans expect our city to deliver world-class services. To do that, we need to be able to hold those in leadership accountable. But right now, our charter rewards bureaucracy and scatters responsibility—protecting those in power, even if they have demonstrated serious ethical lapses. Norway was the first country to approve a long-term support program for Ukraine, setting an example for other nations. Today’s Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit affirmed that support for Ukraine is becoming long-term. This is a huge step. It’s not just about sending the right signal to Moscow—that Ukraine won’t be abandoned. It’s about sending the right signal to our people, our soldiers, and everyone in Ukraine who is fighting and working for freedom. This is vital for people’s motivation, and not only in Ukraine. The 21st century should not be a period in which dictators triumph. And it won’t be. We must do enough for this!

These meetings are a joke. All we get is recycled talking points, excuses, and a front-row seat to watch how our tax dollars are being wasted. That's it. Nothing discussed in these meetings is focused on helping the taxpaying citizens of Chicago. Nothing. They give the appearance that they're fighting for you. They give the appearance that they're discussing solutions to improve your life. But when you sit through these meetings and watch what actually happens, you see the truth. The citizens come last. The agenda comes first. I've attended meeting after meeting at City Hall, Cook County, CPS, and other government bodies. The more you watch, the more you realize how disconnected these elected officials are from the people paying the bills. As Mayor, I will change that. My administration will launch forensic audits of city departments, contracts, grants, and taxpayer-funded programs. We will identify waste, fraud, abuse, and corruption and make the findings public. Every department receiving taxpayer dollars will be required to show results and public reports. Failed programs will no longer receive money. We should not be making priority or paying for social programs, holistic programs, universal basic income scams etc. This county has wasted hundreds of millions on everything else but our necessary core services putting millions of people at risk. The NEED for things should be prioritized over the WANT.

A concerned citizen speaking in front of Commissioners Court states that Harris County is paying for things that aren’t in the budget. Lina’s condescending response, while saying the county keeps spending money we don’t have, included paying for things the county SHOULD BE paying for and are actually the priorities. Our county budget should be used for: Legally Mandated & Debt Obligations, Flood control, Essential Infrastructure & Operations and Core Public Safety Functions, Sheriff’s Office & Constables, Judicial & Legal System. I want to thank the great people of Wisconsin for their warm welcome and steadfast patriotism. It was an honor to join the Republican Party of Brown County for their Lincoln-Reagan Dinner and the Republican Women of Waukesha County for their Defending America Dinner. Wisconsin embodies the spirit of hard work, faith, and freedom that defines the American heartland. The people I met are deeply committed to preserving our constitutional values and ensuring that future generations inherit a nation grounded in truth and strength. Just now, I brought forward a commonsense measure to support the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act—ensuring males, however they identify, do not compete in women’s sports. My colleagues refused to support it. Women’s sports exist to provide a fair and safe playing field. Yet girls are being injured, teams are forfeiting, and parents in San Diego County are deeply concerned about their daughters sharing locker rooms with biological males. Unfortunately, my colleagues would not support this measure. This isn’t about politics—it’s about fairness, safety, and common sense. Women and girls deserve better, and I will keep fighting for them.
