a point i’ll never get tired of mentioning is how healthy chan’s masculinity is. he is strong but he never uses his strength to hurt but only to protect. there’s so much warmth and security that he carries into everything he does and it’s truly felt by everyone around him. the only time he gets genuinely aggressive is when he’s protecting or standing up for someone he loves and it only makes him so much more strong and mature. even in boxing, a sport that’s by it’s definition so aggressive, stereotypically masculine and rough, he manages to show his gentler and more grounded and protective side. even for a competitive person that chan is, someone who loves sports and loves winning, his priority still is making sure his loved one isn’t hurt. oh i always think that i couldn’t love this man more and then i do.

Regarding the Eric Trump / Daniel Cormier “text scandal”, I am open to being convinced otherwise, but I do not believe for one second that Eric Trump would text something so stupid to Daniel Cormier. It’s laughably stupid on its face to think that Eric Trump would ask a UFC commentator if any of the fights are “rigged”. That he would ask it in writing. And that he would not, for example, just pick up the phone and call Dana White or Joe Rogan himself. That said, I just want to understand what happened. Daniel Cormier said he was hacked. Is that to say he was hacked at the text level, or the X post level? Did he in fact make the post, and delete it? If he made the post, did he do it as a joke to illustrate how absurd the text hack was, but realized how the post could be misinterpreted as real? Or did someone make the post from his X account he subsequently deleted it. I know there are some who are going to say he made the post in earnest, thinking the text messages were real, intending to call out the “corruption”, and he has since been threatened, deleted the post, and claimed “hack”, etc. I can tell you exactly why I do not believe, even if he made the post, he did it believing the text message was real, intending to call out the “corruption”. If Cormier seriously thought the text messages were real, he would understand that by posting it publicly, it would literally destroy the UFC, his livelihood and his legacy - in addition to the legacy of everyone who has ever competed in the UFC. The thing I love most after enlistment is how Jimin’s light isn’t just bright. It’s the brightest it has ever been. There’s a glow to him, a quiet radiance with that warm aura you can feel in his smile and those soft giggles. Like I said in my post, he looks freer. I’ve been a Jimin bias for a long time, from the very beginning, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him shine quite like this. I keep going through old memories because this version of him carries pieces of every era I fell in love with. Maybe it’s simply been too long since we’ve seen him like this. Maybe I’m overwhelmed and grateful that he’s truly back. Maybe. Maybe not. But something about him now tells me he’s okay. And just to be clear, it’s not that he lacked confidence at any point in the last ten years. He always had it. What I mean is that this Jimin… it’s a different kind. I watched Robot on the Road and honestly I did not really know what to expect going in At the beginning it just feels like a pretty normal little road trip setup with this robot hitchhiking around Japan and it almost gives off a chill slice of life vibe But it does not stay like that for long The more it goes on the more you realize the robot is doing some really questionable stuff and the way it focuses on women without their consent makes the whole thing feel really uncomfortable By the end I was not really sure if I was supposed to find it funny or just feel weird about it Overall it feels like one of those shorts that tries to mix dark humor with awkward situations but it mostly just ends up being unsettling
