Yet Another Lighting & Stagedepth Tutorial Hello! I’ve put together another video on lighting and StageDepth, using the same approach from my previous videos. Pick a strong background photo, load it in StageDepth, then adjust the lighting so your gpose feels immerged in the background. If you would like... show more

Someone asked if I could make a tutorial about lighting in my gposes. I don't know how to make a tutorial so I'll just upload a vid of my usual lighting set up 🤡

Today, I learned that I have been using RTGI and StageDepth the wrong way all this time... And the Brio flat light is so incredible for creating an ambient light drop from the background #GPOSER #GPOSERS #Brio

I’ve completed most of the background. Feels like there's still a lack of lighting effect, so I plan to work on it more later. What aspects do you think could be improved?

Some are saying the Kate video is fake with a stationary background... Really don't want to have to point out that there isn't a stationary background or some type of green screen on the Kate video but wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't point some things out. The background is moving and you can even see some bugs. The lighting and bench reflection makes sense as well.

Alrighty - my final update on this shot for now! Tons of revisions and fixes, as well as new Music SFX and VO. Added the welders welding, a few more work bees, the Arges in the background, and some changes to the lighting angle. 4K in the 🧵! I hope everyone likes it!

The 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony looks, yet again and to no surprise, like another homage to Satanism. It features a red glowing orb that resembles a satanic pentagram, red lighting, and a temple in the background. We are at war between good and evil. It’s that simple.

Here's a quick peek at the new lighting in Island Architect! Feels really nice to see the lighting react as you build houses, edit the terrain or watch time pass. The new solution has bounced lighting and reflections, all without relying on ray tracing hardware.

How about one image straight to an editable UE5 or Blender scene? Lumera just dropped paper - Engine-Native Editable 3D World Reconstruction with Objects & Lighting. You give it an image. It figures out what's in the scene, rebuilds every object as a separate mesh, then recreates the lighting as actual engine lights you can move and tweak. Even pulls an HDR environment out of the shot. The lighting part is the big deal here. Every other image-to-3D approach bakes it in. Lumera keeps it a parameter, like the scene was built in the engine from the start. Code and weights marked as "Soon". Paper -

I’ve had quite a few people ask about how I use the black and white underpainting in my process. Here’s a short timelapse video showing part of the color pas over ‘Chrysalis’. I don’t always use an underpainting, but when I do, I use it to work out the overall values and lighting…especially useful when large areas of the painting are invented…such as the entire background and landscape of this painting. Then I make the color pass in pass in opaque oil and use the underpainting as a value guide…free to focus entirely on the color.

Someone enhanced the lighting on this video from Nancy Guthrie’s house when the suspect was disconnecting her Nest cam and claims you can see another person leaning into a car in the background. Sometimes I see it… sometimes it looks like shadows playing tricks. Watch closely and tell me what you think.

i GENUINELY did not know how much the front camera on your iphone over compensates when it comes to lighting, smoothness skin and changing colors you buy an actual camera and realize that ur phone’s camera has been nothing but a lie all along. these are two video taken from the same angle, same distance, same lighting but the front camera and then the back one. and the images are miles apart.

MrBeast Games winner explains the application process for the Beast Games “You have to complete a video that’s like 60 seconds or less explaining why you want to be on Beast Games and what you would do if you won a million dollars” “I just used my webcam and recorded a super simple video and sent it. I was like, there’s no way they’re going to choose me. Two weeks later I got a call from a girl and she said, ‘We watched your video and we liked it. We have some more questions’” “Then they did a social media background check, a health and wellness background check. I had to do another video and then another phone call. Fast forward a month and I finally got the call saying: ‘You’re in the Beast Games’”
