The ref trying to make up for his earlier mistake of wrongfully disallowing O’Connor’s bicycle kick

Two awful decisions in this game, this goal was fine as was the overhead kick from Reading in the first half

Tbf crazy how that's not given , or our bicycle kick goal 🤔. But good game , gave our all against you prem boyz

🤷 Can only think ref had second thoughts about Paudie’s bicycle kick. They both looked good to me. Why have goals when we can suck the life out if the game.

Because there’s a massive difference between ‘You are the ref’ and ‘you are a competent ref’. Last night there was no sign of the latter.

If the ref made so many mistakes (Reading penalty, overhead kick goal, Brentford 3rd all howlers) in his nursing job he'd be sacked.

That should have been allowed. Reading penalty should have been allowed. Reading goal in the first half should have been allowed. The ref last night was abysmal.

Pretty typical of all the referees in League One tbh. I’d probably still take this sh!tshow over VAR. If I’m celebrating a goal I don’t then want to have to wait 3-5 minutes to see if it still stands.

O'Connor's bicycle kick and this goal shouldn't have been disallowed I think. In that case at least it didn't really affect the result.

Ok, so the overhead kick SHOULD have counted but there is previous for disallowing them. This however is THE worst decision I’ve ever seen. My god this ref needs to answer some questions about it! What on earth is happening to the game! Ridiculous ! 🐝
