You can add edge loops, extrude, adjust faces and points on a Post Process Volume inside UE5 using Brush Editing. This can be good for awkward shaped rooms where you don't want to use multiple smaller PPV boxes, or not clip into another PPV that uses a different effect.

The modeling tools plugin (currently in beta I think) will let you pick whatever primative shape you would like and set it as a volume object, and the model editing tools are a little bit less finicky to work with.

we've used the polygon extrude tool extensively for collision boxes. in the creator you have choices for what kind of mesh or volume you want to create and you can just draw it into the level

fun fact, it still makes it a box because it uses the actor extent.
