You can now generate, preview, and edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets, code, and more directly in the Google Gemini without having to leave your chat. Or, for added control, you can expand into a full-screen view to type manual edits, highlight a specific section, or have Gemini make targeted changes.

PDF preview and editing is supported on both the web and mobile, while all other formats (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Markdown files, TXT files, slide decks, and code) are supported on the web only. These capabilities are now available to all users in all languages where Gemini app is available. Learn more ↓

@GeminiApp вызовы инструментов и навыков работают очень плохо , уважаемый google! Gemini постоянно говорит, что она не умеет создавать документы

@GeminiApp been using it for a while... works really good 👍

@GeminiApp Man this is a game changer 💪

@GeminiApp like it or not but for students gemini is awesome

@GeminiApp Finally

@GeminiApp hope the highlight edit only rewrites that section. with most chat tools you ask to fix one paragraph and the whole doc comes back slightly different, numbers included

@GeminiApp حلوووو كتير

@GeminiApp 局部修改最需要看清改了哪里。选中一段让它改，旁边能对比前后、单独撤销这次修改，长文和表格来回调整才不会越改越怕。

@GeminiApp ale zipa juz nie da rady xd

@GeminiApp Time for Chrome 👨🏾‍💻

@GeminiApp finally i can generate a spreadsheet i will never open again without leaving the chat 😭
