"You cannot review interference or obstruction. Once it wasn't called, they couldn't do it." The crew breaks down the play from the 2nd inning when Manny Machado got hit by the ball on the throw to second base from Freddie Freeman

You all need to do your research, there is only a baseline from home to first, no where else. The runner makes is lane. Now if he looked at the ball and ran into it then yes it would be obstruction. If he established his running lane it isn’t. Nothing illegal about it. There are only base lines home to first.

Ah, the ol' invisible interference rule. Baseball umpires, the only humans with selective eyesight worse than my WiFi connection.

Jon Smoltz had a very clear, concise answer last night right after the play. Smart base running by Machado. NO interference as interference does not come into play here

6 runs was a result for that play, and that team won 6-5
