This is one of my favorite movie endings... It has a powerful lesson: "At some point, everything is going to go south on you...and you're gonna say 'this is it, this is how I end.' Now you can either accept that, or you can get to work. That's all it is, you just begin. You do the math. You solve one problem. Then you solve the next one. And the next. And if you solve enough problems, you get to come home." This is the beautiful thing about life: No matter where you are today—no matter how deep in the darkness—you are always just one good decision away from being in a better place tomorrow. You can always focus on that one decision—that one problem—in front of you. Don't worry about the hundreds or thousands of decisions that you still have to make to get to where you want to be—just focus on the next decision. Just begin. Solve one problem. So, I requested them that we must work together, and they have agreed. I will soon have a meeting regarding the Outer Ring Road (ORR), which is very important, more than ten lakh software engineers are working along that corridor. We are preparing a detailed plan for it. I have asked Mr Priyank Kharge and his team to first hold discussions with all the CEOs before the Tech Summit. I will also attend one of those meetings and announce a major programme for the ORR. Time management and transportation are crucial, and metro work is already in progress there. We will address all the related issues. We also want to expand IT spaces around Bengaluru to reduce travel time. We don’t want everything concentrated in one place. While California has around 13 lakh people working in one location, Bengaluru has about 25 lakh software engineers spread across the city. So, we are working on strategies to minimise travel time and improve connectivity.”

Keith Rabois on the “one person, one problem" framework he learned from Peter Thiel “You need to spend a lot of time focusing people. This is something I learned from Peter Thiel. He used to insist at PayPal that every single person could only do exactly one thing. And we all rebelled. You feel like it’s insulting to be asked to do just one thing, but Peter would enforce this pretty strictly.” Thiel would say: “I will not talk to you about anything else except for this one thing that I’ve assigned to you. I don’t want to hear about how great your doing in this other area. So, I have been watching the video for hours. I am pretty sure I see a gun, I see him doing something in the area of the screwdriver was found and I see a recoil, but first, let's break it down, this first video, I think it is clear he is running with a gun, this looks like the barrel to me. Excuse my poor editing, I was trying to give you an area to look at to see the barrel--inevitably, a cultist will take a still from this video where I prematurely circled the area so you know what area to look, and they will claim "NO GUN" you watch. Anyway, I do not care, first part is proving a gun was on that roof and I clearly see it, do you?
