🇨🇦🛢️🏭 : BC Premier David Eby says he is open to building a refinery in British Columbia to cut off imports of oil & gas from the USA. He announced this after being asked if he would lift the tanker ban across the Northern BC Coast. Eby says the TMX expansion is not being utilized at capacity and thus he sees no need for a new taxpayer funded pipeline. David also says there is no offer from the private sector to build a pipeline. Enbridge wanted to build the Northern Gateway pipeline 10 years ago. We also had a private offer to build a multi billion $ refinery in Kitimat. Both projects were cancelled because Justin Trudeau & David Eby made it impossible for private investors. In the case of the Northern Gateway pipeline, Justin Trudeau cancelled it in 2016 despite that line having First Nation consent & billions in equity shares in the line. Something I have posted about repeatedly, including a few days ago. Enbridge also spent $1 billion on consultations and environmental impact assessments, only to have the new Liberal government ax the project anyways. Once the BC NDP came to power, they made it next to impossible for a refinery project to be built by ensuring the process would cost far too much, while having too much uncertainty, to be viable. We lost a decade of prosperity because of Justin Trudeau's Liberals & the BC NDP pushing their self serving agendas. Only to now watch David Eby backtrack 10 years later. This should infuriate everyone. We could have had that refinery built by now and be domestically benefitting from & exporting premium jet fuel, gasoline, diesel & various types of crude. The reality is, David Eby is a failure & should be stepping down so a competent government can take over.

UPDATE: The police are still keeping our reporter David Menzies in jail Instead of arresting the violent Hamas thugs, they arrested David Menzies. Ezra Levant 🍁🚛 in downtown Toronto at the 52 Division police station. Our reporter David Menzies is in the jail inside. Here’s hisupdate: Ezra heard from Leora Shemesh, the lawyer we hired for David. She says the police are deciding whether to release him tonight or to keep him in jail, and actually have a bail hearing for him in the morning. As in, to try to keep him in jail until his trial. Trial for what? If you watch the video of his arrest, it’s David who was assaulted by pro-Hamas protesters. They hit him, shoved him and slapped the microphone out of his hand. And they hit our cameraman, @realmonsanto, too. David did nothing wrong at all. Police were standing RIGHT THERE. But instead of arresting the violent Hamas thugs, they arrested David. David was completely flabbergasted. When he asked what the charge was, you can hear the cop saying it’s for failure to leave the premises. Huh? It’s a public square. In front of City Hall. Where a public gathering was happening — a pro-Israel vigil to remember the victims of Hamas’s terrorist attack six months ago. It was the Hamas thugs who came to disturb the peace. But the cowardly Toronto cops knew that if they took on the Hamas mob, they would likely fight back violently. And they’d probably get an angry phone call from Justin Trudeau, too, who has already had a highly inappropriate private meeting with Toronto’s Police chief, to tell him what to do. Africa’s Public Systems Didn’t Just Decline, They Were Left Behind Across many African countries, we’ve quietly normalized weak public systems. From education to energy and transportation, what used to be strong state institutions have gradually given way to private alternatives that are driven by profit, not public good. There was a time when public schools worked and produced generations of people who could compete anywhere in the world. Today, many families are turning to private options, not because they want to, but because they feel they have no real choice. At the heart of this is a deeper issue of purpose and direction. When institutions are not built around clear national interests, they struggle to function in any meaningful way. The private sector can step in, but it will always prioritize profit over people. And that is where the real tension lies. As The Spearhead’s Mckay Chukwu points out, if African countries are serious about long-term progress, then rebuilding strong public institutions grounded in sovereignty and a clear sense of purpose is not optional, it is necessary.

Today’s protest in Zimbabwe has exposed how rotten its capital city, Harare, and its infrastructure have become. This used to be Africa’s 4th most advanced city. It is now a total embarrassment, highlighting the decay caused by Mnangagwa’s corrupt government and the incompetence of his clueless ministers who have destroyed not only the capital city, but the whole country. If the capital city is in such a dire state, imagine the condition of towns and other cities across Zimbabwe! It is a mess! Yet the guy wants to violate the constitution so that he dies in power! In 1980, Harare was one of the most advanced cities in Africa, often ranked among the top five. It had modern infrastructure, a well-maintained road network, reliable public services, and a strong economy compared to many other African cities at the time. Some rankings placed it alongside Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pretoria as one of the continent’s leading urban centres. A city that was once a beacon of development and prosperity in Africa has been reduced to a shadow of its former self, and the same can be said for many other towns and cities across the country. A capital city is a reflection of its economy—that is why public hospitals, schools, water systems, and the economy of Harare are dead through corruption. Sadly, this corruption is an equal opportunity tragedy for all Mnangagwa’s victims, both in ZANUPF and among those who oppose it. This cannot go on!

That kind of thing matters." * Relations between the two brothers have improved markedly since Ed killed David's hopes of being Labour leader. Patrick Maguire reveals that it was Ed who was one of the first people to suggest David for a Cabinet role to Burnham, saying that he had much to offer * Allies of David say he wants to comeback to frontline politics and would 'definitely' be interested in returning as foreign secretary. There is political logic to it too - Burnham wants to be a domestic-focused prime minister, meaning he needs a heavyweight foreign secretary * One source who knows both brothers said we could end up with the ultimate irony - David thwarting Ed in his ambition to become the chancellor if Burnham chooses him as foreign secretary' * “Ed would welcome him back — provided it doesn’t impact on what Ed wants to do,” they said. “If it did then that would be a different matter altogether. You can see a world where Burnham has to choose between Ed and David and he chooses David and suddenly he’s not a fan of it any more.” * One former cabinet minister who served alongside both men in cabinet said: “It would be nice to see David back in cabinet, but can you really have both Milibands? Neither are loved by the public and both are pretty high-handed towards colleagues. It seems odd.”

2/2 There was no government conspiracy. David was being told for years that the money was coming. There were deals being made. The money would be there Friday. It was all lies. David would tell everyone what he was being told. Remember according to court docs Beskar said he was also getting paid from Divine Cosmos. David says he is also giving money for things like plumbing. Stavatti never had any deals. They also told David there were going to be EVs, quantum computer chips, drones, cows that grow 2x faster and don't fart, free energy, garbage into fuel, build cities, and sell munitions. There were no real investors. There were no deals. There was no Deep State interference. No government conspiracy. David thought he could trust these people. He was the only person on the board that could cover expenses. Why? David was in debt. He said he was broke but Beskar kept asking for money. For all of David's followers it wasn't trolls. It wasn't someone calling out the wild stories. This was years of lies from people that David thought were his friends. It was the ones that were closest to him that lied and supported his delusions. Stavatti Aerospace where is all of the money that you told David he was going ot get? I just noticed at the part 1/19/2025 David says they raised all the money to pay "them" so they could get a $10 million loan. He says they should get the money. They never got $10 million and who would you need to give someone money to get money? It wasn't providing collateral for abank loan. So who did David give money to and got nothing in return?
