Genuine question, @IainDale - yesterday you said that there were no good reasons for listing crimes by nationality. If large fines or even custodial sentences for this sort of behaviour were introduced, such a list would be able to prove or disprove your caller’s hypothesis. Would this not be a good use case of such a data release? To answer that question? And if it were proven, the state could work to explain British cultural and social expectations better. If it were disproven, it could level the same efforts in schools and at actual Brits.
