Enjoy this journey while you can. There will be a day when you don’t have anyone to throw with or lift with or play pickup racquetball and then hit the sauna after with. There will be a day when you can’t immediately roll from your workout into breakfast/lunch/dinner with 8 of your best friends. There will be a day when disputes cannot be settled with a game of madden, 2K or the show. You will realize that showing up late for work pales in comparison to the fear you had about showing up late to the field or the weight room. You can say that you’ll still train hard, keep yourself in shape, hold YOURSELF accountable. It’s easy to say when you have a goal you’re working towards with a collective group. But when you don’t have that, damn it gets hard. So enjoy it. Take advantage of the time and the energy. For some guys it happens after 6 years of pro ball. For others it happens after 4 years of college. But it will leave you. Let me repeat that: IT WILL LEAVE YOU AND IT SUCKS WHEN IT DOES.

The plight of Amos Chibaya, Jameson Timba, and 63 other activists suffering in Zimbabwean jails speaks volumes. It serves as a stark reminder that there is no reason for the people of Mozambique to expect any favors or support from those in power. Dear Citizens of Mozambique, It is deeply troubling that, as citizens of Africa and beyond, we must face the reality that we lack responsible, caring leadership. The upcoming SADC summit, scheduled for November 16th to 20th, will not resolve anything meaningful. The Zimbabwean government, currently the chair of SADC, has opposition politicians languishing in jail. They won’t discuss or resolve issues in favor of the general public, their priority will be to protect each other.

Some people are upset that I said “Raising kanan” in the final season Is just as great as the others Is imo better than “the wire” It’s my opinion we don’t have to agree But romanticism plagues people The wire was great but it did have flaws 50 would never mess a scene up On raising kanan With bad song placement that does not even match the setting of the scene.. And also the actors in the car are terrible And they don’t even have lines lol Yes it was amazing and it’s legendary But I will not allow your romanticism with the past make you believe that the show from your childhood was flawless It was not!! It’s okay for new albums to be better than Illmatic It’s okay for new crime series to be better the wire It’s okay for a new teacher to take it to a level Malcolm X never got too It’s okay!

When I first joined Rayadas I didnt know what it will mean for me as a player! I knew it would be a place I could compete for titles, but I never knew how the passion for this institution would change me as a player. Over the years I learned what it meant to put on this jersey! The people in this city and my team taught me. I feel exactly what the people feel! The love and passion is indescribable, and when you step onto that field you feel it. The people in the stadium make you feel it, and it’s honestly one of the best feelings in this world! That’s why we fight until the very end, because we have a responsibility to represent everything this institution stands for!🙏🏾 #creersiemprecreer

This. Is. Not. OK. Republican Congressman Eli Crane from Arizona called black people “Colored people” on the House floor yesterday. Crane specifically said, “Mr. Chairman, that was unbelievably inspiring, my amendment has nothing to do with whether or not colored people or black people or anybody can serve. Okay? It has nothing to do with colors of your skin — any of that stuff.” Democrat Congresswoman Joyce Beatty then interjected and asked that Crane’s use of the words “colored people” be stricken from the record. She said “I find it offensive and very inappropriate,” before continuing “I am asking for unanimous consent to take down the words of referring to me or any of my colleague as ‘colored people.’ What causes this? It was obviously a slip-up, but people who slip up like this do so for a reason. Someone who doesn’t use this term with their friends typically doesn’t accidentally say it when they are speaking in public. Does anyone think this is OK?

In the few months that cancer has decided I have left on this planet I am going to post more ‘happy’ posts. Nature is beautiful and deserves to be highlighted as much as possible. We all smoke our way, for now I have mastered the art of the glass tip cone style. It’s not a specialty roll by any means, but it’s consistent for me. I don’t have the fine hand coordination nor the patience to fuck up a hand roll when I can do this pretty easily and it smokes as proper as a good hand roll. When I have more time away from serving, I’ll practice hand rolling but this is how I smoke.

Sad news gang. It pains me to say it, but I don’t believe there will be a BrunchByFidel event in Lisbon this year during NFCsummit. We’ve been present the past four years, so not going this time will hit pretty hard. Unfortunately though, I haven’t been able to find a sponsor as easily as in the past. Perhaps due to the recent decline in the web3 community or the cancelling of NFTParis. Perhaps I’m simply not as popular as I once was. However, if you’re an entity in the space looking to sponsor a good cause, or you know of someone who is, please DM me. There’s still time to make this happen.

All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?

Candace Owens says it’s very weird and creepy that Charlie’s friends and people who work for TPUSA are sometimes at the building where Erika Kirk lives. However we’re not supposed to find it creepy that she has people watching them everyday while they try to live their lives. In fact she just says “obviously” she has sources where Erika lives as if it’s just a normal thing when in reality it’s straight up psycho behavior. Candace tries so hard to make everything seem “weird” or “creepy” but the weirdest and creepiest part about all of this has actually been her and the things she’s said and done.
