back in the 70s, game theory was hyped the exact same way AI is today. every genius was obsessed with one thing: how to win. then one guy watched his kids play with legos and realized everybody was completely missing the point. in short: if you're constantly trying to "beat the competition," you're playing the wrong game entirely. hands down one of the clearest explanations of strategic game theory applied to real life by Simon Sinek I mapped out the key rules and action points below.

This is the Basketball Rondo passing drill. We have this in the activities library. (Download more games like this here➡️ This is a great game for passing under pressure. Four players are in a small space, like you see in the video, with three defenders. The defense has to get a steal in order to go on offense. The offense has to make 10 passes in a row to win the game. Coaches can change the space the players operate in, adjust the number of players in the game, and even combine their principles of play into it. For example, you could apply “zero-second decisions,” where players must pass immediately upon catching it, or it’s a turnover.

The game industry has a history of making terrible decisions, but I guess we're still better than Hollywood in this regard. Remember E. T. the video game? The company was so certain it would be a hit that they actually produced MORE E. T. games than there were Atari 2600s. That REALLY punks the Labor Theory of Value in my opinion. Add your Worst Ever video games to the list. 2/2
