You guys remember that Pirate Ubisoft game Skull & Bones that was kinda dead on arrival? Well, Ubisoft has seemingly been updating it consistently under the radar and they are adding land exploration and actual Sword Combat. How could they ship this game without melee? WTF?

Yeah this game was a major miss, still wish we got a Black Flag 2

People really underestimate Ubisoft. They’re nit perfect. They have so many flaws and their games need a whole overhaul of vision because they waste TONS of great potential with their IP in the favor of slop that chases trends when it used to set them. But they know how to make money and they know how to keep an IP alive, and more often than not, the way they market their games and attend conventions, they make such a massive entrance that most other publishers don’t have and they attract people so well. Many think their games will end up like Concord or The Veilguard are really misinformed about Ubisoft’s ability to stay afloat

Holy shit, this is such a surprising and welcome change? I mean, we all expected/wanted it at launch and it was already delayed to hell and back but it is nice to see that they've decided to improve the game even further.

Hold up, why wasn’t this available at launch? wasn’t this supposed to be the complete package, a AAAA Game

Conspiracy theory: this is part of the new mechanics in the Black Flag remake

I don’t understand Ubisoft’s strategy it’s like they like to get bullied and then put the stuff people want into the their games without telling anyone till last minute

Mistakes were made but if they are updating it into a banger I may consider 🤔

Honestly, this feels like the game is finally being released and was in some beta state until now. I've played the open beta back then and absolutely hated the game, but this looks kinda promising. I will definitely look forward to this and see how it goes.
