Americans handed over about 253 billion dollars in credit card interest and fees in a single year, and for millions the debt never actually shrinks. Total household debt in the United States just hit a record of about 18.8 trillion dollars. Credit cards are only a slice of that, but they are the cruelest slice, because the interest rate almost never drops below 20 percent. Here is what that does. If you carry a balance of 5,000 dollars and pay only the minimum, it can take more than 15 years to clear, and cost you more than 6,000 dollars in interest alone. You end up paying for the same purchase twice. The amount Americans pay each year just in card interest is now more than triple what it was in 2021. This is not an accident of the market. High rates and low minimum payments are built to keep you paying, slowly, for as long as possible.

Maybe some coaches will chime in on this…. But this is how I’m seeing it right now. I think you’re going to see more and more two way guys coming on the scene in college baseball. Here is why. The rosters are going down to 34 man rosters. You will be needing 2-4 guys who can eat up an inning or two and be able to produce in the field and at the plate. Those numbers may be even higher than that. Years ago when a college told you- you can two way, it typically meant we are brining you in, youll have a short leash and your most likely going to be a PO. Now it’s a legit thing. Schools will need much more versatility- If you can pitch and hit AND play multiple spots on the field. Your stock will rise this year and years beyond. It’s just a matter of can you develop both and do both safely with the load on the arm. Bobcats open on the 13th at home!!! #slammarcos #baseball #twowayplayer #beisbol #pitcher

What I assume is happening is law enforcement retreating, likely to their headquarters. But it is unlikely the cities have fallen. A heavy-anded crackdown is coming. Expect violence. But also don't expect the regime to last much longer based on how things are looking.

This is why being a great NBA player is more than just individual talent. There's no denying guys like Mitchell and Harden are great. But do you think Jalen Brunson, or anyone else on this Knicks team, would have just given up? Down 22 in the fourth against these same Cavs in Game 1. Down 29 to the Spurs in Game 4 of the Finals. Won both. The Cavs quit on defense here. They knew they didn't have a shot in this game, or in the series. This is why having the right leader and the right people on the bus matters more than just stacking names.
