The “Abu Shabab” militia has just published a video in which they claim that one of the Qassam fighters, who was part of a group tasked with attacking them, was captured east of Rafah. What caught my attention in this video is important: the clothes the person is wearing looked very familiar to me. After going back and checking, it became clear that he is the same person who appeared in photos, with the same stains on the clothing, that were published by the Israeli army, claiming he was one of the fighters they arrested while escaping through a tunnel in the Jneina neighborhood in Rafah. This means one of the two narratives is false… or both: either the Israeli narrative, or the narrative of the Abu Shabab militia. This further documents and confirms the military cooperation between the two sides. For this reason I have always doubted the Israeli narrative regarding the besieged fighters in Rafah. In December 2025, reconnaissance troops from the "OnlyWars" unit conducted a clearing operation in Yarova on the Lyman axis. The operation began with the unit entering the settlement undetected and establishing ambush positions. At one point during the engagement, a Russian soldier approached their position and mistook a Ukrainian fighter for his own - he was quickly neutralized. 1:30 In total, three enemy personnel were neutralized in the ambush, and one managed to escape. After securing the area, the fighters collected weapons and communication devices. Later, the reconnaissance unit discovered a group of Russian soldiers hiding in a house. The building was struck by Ukrainian FPV drones. 7:30 After the strikes, the operator observed the group leaving the building and moving toward a nearby three-story structure. To ensure the first building was fully clear, one of the fighters fired an RPV “Shmel” through a window. (9:19) Moments later, a “Baba Yaga” drone dropped a munition onto the roof. (9:49) Later, the fighters advanced toward one of the three-story buildings where Russian soldiers had previously been spotted. An assault was planned to check whether any radios or other equipment had been left behind during their hasty retreat. (11:16).

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Yesterday Ukraine's 425th Skala brigade published a video from the city of Kostiantynivka claiming to have cleared it of Russsian servicemen. As it turns out, that operation was just a small group of 4 Ukrainian soldiers sent in to create the video. Following the creation of the video, these 4 soliders were engaged by Russian servicemen. As a result, 2 are KIA and the other 2 surrendered. The Russians then instructed the 2 Ukrainian servicemen to film a new video with the Russian flag. The 425th is an absolute mess.

Ukranian nationalists hate the so called waiters, the Ukranian citizens that stay in their houses and wait for the Russian soldiers to arrive. Ukranian soldiers know that hiding behind them is effective. Hence they often become a target in desperation. In one of the houses, a Ukrainian soldier held a civilian woman and a child hostage. Using the civilians as a shield, he opened fire against the Russians soldiers. The Russian fighters demanded the release of the hostages, promising to let him go. A few minutes later, pushing the woman and child out into the street and firing a burst at the Russian fighters, the Ukrainian soldier fled, wounding one of the Russian soldiers. Russian soldiers immediately took the child in their arms and hid in the house.
