The opening of the PS2 game "Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked" by Grasshopper Manufacture. Suda51 directed and co-wrote the game with Masahi Ooka, just like they did in "The Silver Case". Masafumi Takada (Killer7, Danganronpa) did the soundtrack outside of the opening by Nujabes

Found this when cleaning out my computer and I was cataloging other Sentai references way back when. This is from Suda51, the guy who made No More Heroes, who made this game: killer7. The "Punishing Rangers" AKA Handsomeman. They're assassins basically.

This is a game that was denied a nomination for game of the year over a fucking DLC from a game that came out 2 years ago and a fucking mobile poker game 🤦

sunset is genuinely the most underrated chapter in killer7 and is often overshadowed by the rest, its telling of the government -- how it can be fucked is such an amazing key detail of the chapter. i beg more of you to replay this chapter and look into it more, dare i say top 1.

Gilbert Arenas reacts to Byron Scott’s comments that LeBron James needs to leave the Lakers: “LeBron James came in 2003, 2004. It is 2025,2026. Take your biased opinions aside, can anybody name one year that LeBron James the year disappointed you? Can you say, “Oh man, this was a disappointing year. Not a disappointing series. Not a disappointing play. Not a disappointing two minutes of a game and he lost the championship game or no the year when you said all right LeBron James from game 81 until he was done. Can you say that man disappointed you? Like what year was his off year?” (Via Gilbert Arenas)

you can really tell addison has spent A LOT of time training and practicing singing fame is a gun after all the hate she was getting at the grammys.

Here is a game that looks like it was made with 2D sprites on a tilemap But it’s actually a three.js scene Also, no external assets. It’s all code and a bit of shader magic The player can switch between the pixel view and the 3D scene Made with Opus 5

💡 Did you know the “chemical imbalance” explanation for antidepressants was never grounded in real science? And psychiatrists have admitted they keep telling their patients this because it makes them more likely to take medication. “The chemical imbalance story was pushed for decades, largely by the drug industry.” “It was never grounded in real science.” “And all of this is spilt out into the media… after numerous big review articles came out saying that there was no link between low serotonin and depression.” “‘In truth, the chemical imbalance notion was always kind of an urban legend… never a theory seriously propounded by well-informed psychiatrists.’” “Many psychiatrists say this to patients because it makes them more likely to accept a medication and it moves the visits faster.” “Telling someone that they have a chemical imbalance can be a really quick way to kind of educate them about why they need to take a medication.” “It just smooths over the process.” “It’s essentially a lie.” “It teaches them to think that their suffering is caused by a broken brain and that the solution is a pill.” “And when you try and pretend that it boils down to a single thing that you can fix with a drug, you’re misleading patients.” Dr. Josef

Jalen Williams on his wrist: “It sucks. It’s a very annoying process. Nobody is going to be more frustrated than me when shots are short. It’s one of those things I gotta learn throughout the game. It’s not like I’m on a bad team where I can jack 40 shots and figure it out that way… This injury is not something where you get two hand surgeries and you’re good to go. It’s over the course over the year, a year and a half and have summers to really figure it out.”

They killed Isaac Kappy for speaking out. "The higher you go, the more sick it gets." "The name of the game is blackmail. So they want something on you that they can hold over your head so they can basically own you and tell you what to do. And they film it."
