Let's see if truth matters to Truth Matters. Latest national debt: $36.217 trillion as of 4/17/25 When Trump took office: $36.218 trillion on 1/21/25 Net change: A decrease of $1 billion. Not much, but lets look at one year prior. $34.576 trillion on 4/17/24 $34.072 trillion on 1/19/24 Net change: An increase of $504 billion. So in the same period a year ago, Biden increased the debt $504 billion, while in the same period this year, Trump decreased the debt by $1 billion. That's a HUGE difference. I wish it was even more, but let's be truthful Truth Matters. It's a huge improvement. Source for the numbers is the US Treasury.
