It’s not scripted like WWE. But if you don’t think the refs have been compromised and are pulling or holding flags at the best or worst times in order to influence the outcomes. You’re either naive or don’t understand the power that the very wealthy and powerful (trillion $ gambling industry) could have on guys that have regular jobs that our refs - I mean it’s already been exposed in pro soccer. NFL is bigger and easier to influence with penalties like holding (happens on every run play) or DPI (never got called late rate it’s now).

When you pay attention to spreads and player props and you know everything that has to do with gambling, you notice that when a certain player has 7 catches the 1st half and needs 8 for the entire game, that player will disappear and be out there doing cardio for the rest of the game.
