100%. Kids played on teams with different results but oh my gosh looking back they were committed and so good which gave them an understanding of game at a level not seen on ESPN

Guy: “You went to LC State and played for Ed Cheff?!” Me: “Yes” Guy: “I heard he was crazy and you guys had to literally fight for your positions?!” Me: “Pretty much” Guy: “Wow, that’s insane!” Me: “Shouldn’t everyone have to fight for playing time? Fight to earn your team’s respect? Fight to show your coaches that you’re tough enough to compete at that level? Fight to put in the work? Fight to show how bad you wanna win?” ⚾️As much as I hated it it while I was in the daily grind, I’m most thankful today for the toughness that Coach Cheff instilled in all of us at LCSC! Now that I’m older, I realize how important resilience and toughness is in our daily lives. Thank you coach🙏🏽
