In January 2025 two Chinese women out shopping in Kobe and inadvertently stopped inside the railroad crossing and were hit by a train. The driver of the train wasn’t able to see them as they were behind a pole. Their families are suing the train company for $900,000 in damages as the signage was unclear. Since 2009 there have been four other incidents at this crossing, including one death.

A truck got stuck on the railroad crossing at County Road 11 at F in Fulton County and the witness behind the wheel caught the whole thing on camera - the driver was not in the cab when it happened and is confirmed safe, but that truck was not moving and the result was exactly what you would expect. Luckily the truck driver left the so he wasn’t hurt . It must have been horrifying to watch his cab being destroyed !! Don’t know if that was his truck or a company owned cab . The thing I don’t understand is how vehicles get stuck on tracks like that so often ?
