Interesting conversation between two personalities of high performance and high risk sports discussing what happens with evolution of family life! I’ve seen this in high risk sports I’ve been involved in and I have to agree that this is very much of what changes the mindset of high performance athletes, it’s purely human nature! We have to keep reminding ourselves that our athletes are all human and have families and loved ones they treasure!

@wedusport @AlexHonnold The frontal lobe is the last part of the brain to develop in men. I did lots of risky things that stopped once I hit my late 20’s, early 30’s before I had kids. It’s kids plus maturity.
