Instead of manually searching everywhere, you can quickly check information linked to the number. With this tool you can often discover: 📞 Caller ID name (CNAM) 🌍 The country or calling area linked to the number 📡 Carrier or numbering plan information 🧩 Additional clues to continue your investigation The platform works by collecting public phone number data from multiple sources and compiling it into a simple lookup report for researchers. This kind of information is often the first pivot before searching social media, leaks, or messaging apps. One thing to remember though: caller information should always be treated as a clue, not a confirmed identity, because phone data can sometimes be inaccurate or spoofed. Attackers are using hacked email accounts of business executives to send fake Microsoft onedrive notifications that end in a theft of the new victim's login details. This phishing campaign is not new but I experienced one that hasn't been shut down yet and I thought to share. The attackers are exploiting the reputation of an established domain to send an email. The link in the phishing mail points to an actual sharepoint file so this phishing email will pass through most email security tools without being flagged. I'll share a more technical breakdown of this attack in the coming days. This one is for the everyday user to get a feel of what's happening. I’m excited to kick off the first of our short courses focused on agents, starting with Building Agentic RAG with LlamaIndex, taught by Jerry Liu, CEO of LlamaIndex 🦙. This covers an important shift in RAG (retrieval augmented generation), in which rather than having the developer write explicit routines to retrieve information to feed into the LLM context, we instead build a RAG agent that that has access to tools for retrieving information. This lets the agent decide what information to fetch, and enables it to answer more complex questions using multi-step reasoning. In detail, you'll learn about: - Routing: Where your agent will use decision-making to route requests to multiple tools. - Tool Use: Where you'll create an interface for agents to select what tool (function call) to use as well as generate the right arguments. - Multi-step reasoning with tool use: Where you'll use an LLM to carry out multiple steps of reasoning, while retaining memory throughout the process. I was shocked by the amount of information I found. To reduce my digital footprint, I started by deleting unused accounts, photos, and posts. Some websites make it challenging to delete your account or remove personal information ⚠️ One of the best resources I found was JustDeleteMe, a directory of direct links to delete your account from various web services. Here’s how to use JustDeleteMe: 1. Visit JustDeleteMe 2. Type the name of the website from which you want to delete your account 3. Click on “view info” 4. Follow the instructions to remove your account 🗑️ I highly recommend conducting an OSINT investigation on yourself first. This helps you understand how people use the internet and what information might be interesting to an OSINT investigator 👀 Additionally, I recommend using Google Alerts to monitor any search results that might contain your or your client’s information. Here is how I investigate a Google account without tools 🔍 Not everybody has the resources to set up Linux as a virtual machine. That’s why it’s always a good idea to have a list of websites that can do this for you 🌐 You’ll find a list of OSINT (Open‑Source Intelligence) resources at the link provided at the end of this post. The first thing you need is the person’s email address 📧 There are many ways to find someone’s email, which I’ll cover in future posts. Once you have their email, you can use an online version of a tool called Ghunt 🛠️ Ghunt is used to investigate Google accounts. Normally, you need Python to run it, but you can also use it online without setting it up on your machine. Here is how I investigate a Google account without tools 🔍 Not everybody has the resources to set up Linux as a virtual machine. That’s why it’s always a good idea to have a list of websites that can do this for you 🌐 You’ll find a list of OSINT (Open‑Source Intelligence) resources at the link provided at the end of this post. The first thing you need is the person’s email address 📧 There are many ways to find someone’s email, which I’ll cover in future posts. Once you have their email, you can use an online version of a tool called Ghunt 🛠️ Ghunt is used to investigate Google accounts. Normally, you need Python to run it, but you can also use it online without setting it up on your machine. He took it home only to find you cannot use the TV without a Walmart account logged in You cent even turn it on and get past the first screen This is because Walmart bought Vizio and by having you sign in with your account they can like the data collected to you This TV collects everything and links it to your account - Contact details - Payment information - Subscription information - Account authentication and security information The optional data that most people just click next through is the really invasive data capturing, it includes - Viewing Data - Activity Data - Mobile App Data - Mobile Streaming Data It also uses built-in technology to analyze what’s playing on the TV in real time, including: - Audio and video programming, ads and gaming content - Content from connected devices like HDMI - Third-party apps like streaming services for movies, shows, episodes, channels, launch events - Device state details: volume, channel, picture controls, inputs, power on/off But it doesn’t stop there, it also collects - Basic identifiers: Name, email, phone, address, account credentials - Device/online identifiers: Device IDs, advertising IDs, IP/MAC addresses, model/serial numbers, firmware, Wi-Fi access points, cookies - Activity Data: Settings, inputs, clicks, impressions, operational/performance data, some content interaction details - Commercial/financial info: Purchases, subscriptions, warranties, payment cards - Internet/network activity: How you use the apps, sites, ads, and services - Mobile app and streaming data if you use the Vizio app You agree to have all this data collected from you just because you bought a TV…..

I installed a new Visual Studio Code extension to help me write code. But this extension doesn't get in your way. It doesn't try to write code for you. It only gives you hints and recommendations about your code. I like that. Like a second pair of eyes, looking over my shoulder and telling me how I can do things better. The extension is Traycer. You can install it directly from inside Visual Studio Code. It's free forever for anyone working on open-source projects (and if you aren't, you can use it for free until the end of June.) I recorded a super-duper-quick video to show you how this extension works. I know code generation is a huge thing, but I really appreciate tools that help me do what I do better. Thanks to the Traycer team for helping me with the extension and collaborating with me on this post!
