it's simpler than that. if an action requires willpower to start, you made the first step too big.

motivation gets you started, repetition is what makes the behavior automatic

Do not repeat a conclusion until it feels true. Repeat the practices that allow you to discover whether it is.

Iteration > repetition Iteration is for Natural entities Repetition is for Artificial entities also known as Civil-social beings also known as: robot(n.) 1923, "mechanical person," also "person whose work or activities are entirely mechanical," from the English translation of the 1920 play "R.U.R." ("Rossum's Universal Robots") by Karel Capek (1890-1938), from Czech robotnik "forced worker," from robota"forced labor, compulsory service, drudgery," from robotiti "to work, drudge," from an Old Czech source akin to Old Church Slavonic rabota "servitude," from rabu "slave" (from Old Slavic *orbu-, from PIE *orbh- "pass from one status to another;" see orphan). The brain 100% does not change from repetition. In fact it stagnates and changes through degradation. -treadmill -hamster wheel -reading the same paragraph over and over There are clear plateaus through repetition and eventual drop offs. ;) Iteration > repetition. Repeating the same talking points as ‘neuroscience’ likes to gaslight people with. It’s paramount to describe actual physiological principles in context. The mechanics. Ambiguous terms and “vibes bro” mentality will only stagnate you and steer you towards degradation as opposed to progressive change. ;) Happy hunting!

Repetition is easy. Everybody does it. Nobody fails at repeating. They fail at picking what to repeat. Perfect consistency on the wrong habit still gets you nowhere.
