YOUR FIRST SAAS DOESN'T NEED A DEVELOPER, A DESIGNER, OR A PENNY OF ADS. Mine did $4,980.03 in July without any of them. Here are the 10 prompts I'd use to build it again from zero:

1. Problem you already pay for Act as a product strategist. I pay for these tools: [list]. For each, find the job it does badly, the workaround I have built around it, and what I would switch for. Rank by how much of my own money is already on the table.

2. Spec before a line of code Act as a technical product manager. Here is the problem: [paste]. Write a one page spec covering the core object model, the five screens needed, and what is explicitly out of scope for v1. Argue me out of anything that is not load bearing.

3. Ugly working v1 Build the smallest thing that does the job end to end, using [stack]. No auth, no settings, no polish. I want one real workflow working today, and I will throw away half of it.

4. Docs as the asset Write the documentation for this product as though a stranger has to implement against it. Cover every object, every field and every edge case. This is not a marketing job, and everything downstream feeds off it.

5. Keyword gaps in a new category Act as an SEO researcher. My category is [X]. Find the short, obvious, high intent searches nobody is ranking for yet, phrased the way a frustrated person would actually type them into Google at eleven at night.

6. Pages grounded in the docs Write a page answering [query]. Use only the attached docs, API reference and real support questions as source material. Depth over length. If the docs do not answer it, say so rather than filling space.

7. llms.txt Generate an llms.txt and a docs structure optimised for an assistant answering questions about my product. Assume the reader is a model recommending tools, not a human browsing.

8. Listening, not posting Build me an alert that fires whenever someone mentions [competitor tools] on Reddit or in forums, with the thread, the question and enough context to judge whether I have a real answer.

9. Reply drafting, human sending Here is a thread where someone is stuck: [paste]. Draft the answer I would give if I had no product to sell. If the honest answer is a competitor, say that.

10. The first invoice Act as a pricing analyst. Here is what the product does: [paste]. Give me three price points, what each one signals, and the smallest plan someone would pay for on a Tuesday afternoon without asking their boss.

Every one of those ran against a real product. It did $4,980.03 in July with no ads and no cold email. The prompts are the easy half. Shipping the ugly v1 is the part nobody posts about. Big thanks to @levelsio for the words of wisdom btw.

Hey man, Fuck your prompts.

SaaS is dead and anyone shilling it is a retard

He did not say what kind of sass. No one will want another cms, just because it’s built/vibecoded by frank in Virginia.
